I normally go to Bluewater, Milton Keynes or Brent cross depending on where I'm working. On balance I think Blue water is the best as it's free parking followed by Milton Keynes but you have to pay to park which is plop as it closest to home then Brent Cross as it's a bit pokey.
They all have Chuckdonalds as well if your interestedNothing to see here, move along.0 -
CMK - everytimeThese are my thoughts and no one else's, so like any public forum advice - check it out before entering into contracts or spending your hard earned cash!
I don't know everything, however I do try to point people in the right direction but at the end of the day you can only ever help yourself!0 -
Another vote for CMK here.:j Go on, shake your money maker! :j0

I quite like Bluewater. It costs me £6 sometihng in train fare but there is a free shuttle bus that I SWEAR is always waiting for me.
My only complaint is not enough seating in the food court. I feel sorry for the exhausted moms and dads scouring for 4 seats together while dragging sticky, crying toddlers about. (Not sorry enough to not ninja a seat away though!
)
I want to check out Westfields but I'm waiting for the "new shiny shopping mall" excitement to die down. Just checked the best way to get to Lakeside via public transport and it advised taking a bus to Bluewater and changing to another bus there.

Got to be the Metro Centre, it has all the shops you can want (no John Lewis but thats ten minutes away in Newcastle), and has two McDonalds!0

you wont get wet if it rains.
You will! There is no covered walk way from the stations to Westfield and part of the outside bit near Waitrose is only partially covered, I think they did this to avoid having to police the smokers if it was enclosed.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
