Just in case anyone is not aware about De Vere Hotels...these offers are for 'De Vere Venues' not the normal De Vere luxury hotels. Although no one can complain at £10 at night!0

I got a couple of nights in manchester and got my confirmation but was completely thrown by the £17.50 tax charge? making the room £27.50!!!

anyone else had this, i didn't see any mention of it during the booking process, just that the room rate was £10
thanks, wee fifer
I also got this, I emailed them last night and i got a reply saying its a mistake and they have let the venue know about it. So we will only pay £10 when we get there.:T0 -
Managed to get 2 nights at ascot - anyone know what we can do around the area? My hubby is due back after being away for 4 months - so this will be a lovely break.
Still trying to get peebles for my parents in february, but can't seem to have any luck - must be fully booked.

I managed to book 2 nights at Ascot too. Just looked on multimap, Reading is about 35 mins by car and Windsor is only 20 mins by car. I suppose there's also Ascot racecourse nearby.0

Thanks for that. I booked one night before Christmas in Ascot. Looks like it's shopping in Reading on Sat, Windsor on Sun.0 -
Hi
I will be interested to hear what you think of it, once you have been. Mine isn't until February.

Not sure if anyone can help but I'm having difficulty trying to find a cheap family room if I put 2 adults 2 children in or infact any family room without being on the £10 room section even if going via the hotel. Yet if I put in 1 adult only it comes up with the option of a family room!!??
Thought it would be nice for the 4 of us to have a cheap break in late dec/ early jan somewhere not too far ie south easty area! All mproving a bit too hard!0
