Another person with an 11.41am email !
Unfortunately the surname has put a spanner in the works.
Perhaps they have a common ISP?0 -

It might be helpful if MrsMillar and fffacoffipawb would tell us the first letter of their respective surnames and the type of account(s) they held.
The FSCS may want us to believe in random allocation but I am not yet convinced
I receive the first email at 19.41 too, surname W, but no 2nd email yet.0 -

Maybe I've just being stupid, but could it be possible that MrsMillar's surname is Millar? No?:rolleyes:Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -

Interestingly I read today that.......
"By Friday the Financial Services Compensation Scheme said it had sent emails to 10,000 of 200,000 Icesave account holders, inviting them to apply for refunds, and paid out £250million. "
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/article-1086105/Icesave-compensation-update-Thaw-begins-frozen-accounts.html
This goes against earlier claims of 10,000 emails per day, which seemed more viable given the timescale. Probably just the Mail getting confused.0
