I got an email too, saying stuff will be delivered by 1 December at latest. Clearly not prioritising based on the time people ordered then!

Due to the volume of orders we received during this event, I’m sorry to inform you that there may be a delay with the delivery of your order. The latest delivery estimate for your order is 01 December 2008. I hope that this will not cause any inconvenience.

Once again, I’m sorry for any delay and hope that you enjoy the rest of your day.

AND - there might be a repeat! Read a very short paragraph in tonight's London Lite (page 15) which said that "bosses at M&S are planning another one-day sale. The high street retailer is considering holding the sale on Thursday 4 December, after last week's 20% off promotion helped to improve sluggish pre-Christmas sales figures."

Should it be true, I will be there the day before, trying stuff on and doing customer reservations!

Make sure you check your orders correctly. I received confirmation my order had been dispatched in one box. When I retrieved it from a neighbours house the box was not big enough for the whole order.

It looks as though the items were not dispatched.

They are now having to reorder the items not received and are having problems because we ordered them on the offer day.

Can you all check that your orders have had the 20% discount applied still just checked mine and Ive lost over £10 from the 20% discount for some reason.
Im seriously p*ssed off - plus in an email i recieved i was told stuff id ordered was out of stock but yet its showing as in stock on the website
Just sent an email asking why Id lost my discount and why stock was instock but not being dispatched to me for another 2 weeks after there next discount day

Oh dear. Looks like they've got a big caught out by how many people went for it then. 4th and 11th? There'll be nothing left by then!

I have been told by one of the members of staff in my local M&S, that on thurday 4th dec that they are having another 20% day... don't know how true it is??
Maybe someone who works for them will be along to confirm or deny it??;)
