Seems daft when you are still getting the 20% off the 3 for 2 offers in store - and thats 20% off the full price of the 3 items before the 3rd one is discounted.

Yes, I had a nice surprise when i checked my till receipt and realised that on the 3 for 2 items they add up the three items, take off 20% and then take off the full price of the lowest item, so you in effect get an added 20% of the full price of a free item! Seems a bit crazy to me!

Just got back, the store is a zoo. I found a few cute things, but unfortunately a few of the things I'd wanted weren't in my size. I had them in my basket online but had wanted to try them on first so decided to buy them in store (which didn't have my size), and of course they were sold out online by the time I came home. So it was a good shop, but rather disappointing too because the shirts I was iffy about turned out to be a lot nicer than I'd thought from the pics, and I should've just got them online.

The moral is: if you're going out today or ordering online, go ahead and buy everything you think you may want and just return it later if you don't like it when it arrives.

I would just buy them in any size either online or instore and then return them anytime for an exchange for the size you do want :T

  • I arrived at Malvern to a virtually empty car park at 9.15 am and had a little look around. I resisted buying anything, as I had gone to get the meal deals and not spend more money that I have not earned yet!!

I managed to buy my 6 meals that should have cost £91 for only £57. Only 10% saving on the wine, food not included in the 20%! However, as I left the food hall the place had become manic and outside the car park was totally full with people parking on the double yellow lines, passengers leaping from the cars as the driver could not park and loads of people waiting for spaces. It did feel a bit like New Year and the mad panic buying which seems to consume everyone.

Happy with my chickens and meal deals for the weekend.... and I managed to take the daughter to McDonalds for breakfast. That was totally empty……

I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 2010

I was a bit annoyed as when I got to the till they wouldnt let me have the extra 20% off 6 bottles of cava - although there were no signs up saying it was excluded - do you think its worth an email querying it?

I believe I read somewhere that sparking wine was excluded? Not 100% certain, but I think that's the case.
  • We have just looked at our receipts. On mine they took 3 4 2 then 20% off, on my AUntys they took the 20% off and then the 3 4 2.
  • Leeds City center M & S was quiet - but I was there at 08.15 - very sad. Could not be bothered to try anything on, so got things in a couple of sizes and will take back any that dont fit. Was asked if I needed any gift receipts as well. Also got a meal deal, usual price £19.01 Meal deal price £10 - I'm happy.

20% then 342 would give you £4.40 off
342 and then 20% would give you £3.40 off
