makes me feel better about the squeekiness of the accounts, i'm wondering how i can charge them rent though so they pay for their keep whilst staying in the bank accounts.0

Hey - sorry have been a bit quiet - have been quite involved in my thoughts these last days.. a bit panicked at my lack of money and the amount of commitments I seem to have!I spent yesterday because I needed some carrots - had friends over for dinner and film. NSD today though the last for September. Will catch up properly tmw I think - still feeling a bit dazed but sticking with the rules
Have Fiona Apple's - Better Version of Me playing and I think I'm feeling a bit inspired

Ok Lemon Tree - I'm with you on the NSD's this month! My budget is also squeaky tight ha ha!
Am going to my parents on Friday to have a talk with them about everything, there's some other things that need to be discussed as well so going to be a hard night! (I won't go into details but incase it's happened to anyone else I've had a phone stalker for the past year and a half and don't know what to do to get the police to take it seriously??) Felt like I couldn't cope with it all yesterday but I'm definitely back in a better frame of mind now! I've decided October is going to be a selfish month, that means a lot more staying in and sorting things, instead of constantly feeling I need to catch up with people! I'm happier when I'm not stressed about spending money so staying in is the best for me! I have been donated some DVD's and I have loads of books as well as needed to tidy my flat from top to bottom so that's what October is for!!
NSD - I'm aiming for 12, starting today!
Extra Money - £200 again this is going to be hard
EBay will just be part of getting extra money so I won't put a target on that.
Feel like Friday is going to be the start of really getting everything back in control, my Mom is kind of a bit like writing in this diary, when I don't speak/write for a while it's normally because I've fallen off track!!!Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
we can work together with getting everything back in control.
I had to get the shopping today (budgetted but still a horendous amount) need to check the receipt as can't believe the cost, but apart from that i haven't spent anything this week. seems like the first time in ages that i've managed to achieve something, usually i go days without spending but last month it was if a tap had been turned on. I even met a friend for lunch in the works canteen and too my own sarnies with me.0 -
Packed lunches are definitely the way forward! They also mean that you don't have to waste half your lunch choosing and buying lunch so you get a longer nicer lunch as well!! And not going outside stops me spending on other things as well!! I'm dressing as a Geisha for a friend 30th this weekend (meal out but I won't drink to keep cost down) have got the dress and make up and everything already, I'm tempted to buy some flowers for my hair or some dark hair dye - but I'm not going to because I want another NSD today! It's only a bit of fun afterall!! I am also going to start spending my lunches in break out area instead of walking round town in shops just so I can listen to music, as it's depressing and too tempted as well!!
I'm seriously considering going to the doctors to get signed off for a bit, I'm getting upset every night and even sometimes in the day and just feel like I need time to put my life in order. Everything is good with it it's just a bit of a jumble and that's stressing me. I've always said if my house is tidy then I'll be better with my finances, but I just feel tired all the time at the moment with stresses from work and other things. I think if I got my house and everything in order then it will help in all areas of my life as well as the MSE oneDebt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
i have always done my own packed lunches cept for the odd blip when a cheese triangle sarni just doesn't do it for me
I'm going to start a spreadsheet tonight to breakdown the grocery shopping to find out just where the bloomin money is going to.
It won't harm to take a trip to your doctors especially with what's going on.0 -
I'm in luck tonight as my Dad is picking me up and taking me food shopping...! I'll mention it's a NSD and see what he gets me
Can't wait until I get back to my parents tonight, I asked to leave half an hour early from work and have been told no?? How ridiculous - what difference does half an hour make?Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
Aw what a shame! I'm hoping to to leave about 4 instead of 4.30, I love having flexi time. It's been a long old week.
Sorry to hear you're not feeling great at the minute, take care of yourself.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I know flex time is great! When they allow you to use it - ridiculous ha!! I'm sure I'll be feeling better again after some time at my parents. My mom is very good at prioritising and making me aware of what is important and what is not!Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270
