I don't think I would of come this far without her help!! (and my Dad as well of course!)
Next 3 days are NSD's and then it's Friday Pay Day, so bit of a boring week money wise.. i'll keep writing in here though and reading as it keeps me motivatedDebt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -

Awww chin up, you don't want chocolate really, you want to add another NSD to September :T
... If you really do want chocolate, you definitely deserve it... A bar of chocolate is not a pair of shoes and definitely justifyable in my opinion given everything you've been doing. So don't worry x

Well didn't manage a NSD, was in Manchester with work yesterday and thought they were supplying lunch - but they didn't!? So had to spend, got free dinner round friends though and went pub quiz and drank soda water again!! Have a gig tonight and it's going to be soda water (Tickets already brought ages ago) so today will be a NSD!! Oh - and again maybe just maybe have a lodger! I have bad luck with people in the past mind - last two people who were going to move in moved to New Zealand and London respectively! Fingers crossed with this one though - I'm not entirely sure he's serious.. but extra money could really help!!!

Hey Liz!!
I stumbled across your diary a few days ago, and I've been reading all 30 pages since then. Can I just say you have done so well this past year - you are an inspiration to many people on here - including me. I feel like a bit of a fraud on here now because I have actually just got debt free - I had about £15000 worth of debt - mainly through attending university and having OTT / slightly mad spending habits, and reading your diary I can see so much of myself in your diary - so believe me - you can do it!
I also split up with my partner while tackling my debts, at points the whole thing made me more focused but at other points it made me want to mollycoddle myself with spending / going out - so on that point I can completely see where you are coming from. But to be honest though - you are allowed to feel like that - and don't feel bad for prioritising yourself, opposed to your debt once in a while! You are still making huge dents in your debt - and you should be proud of yourself - you have an excellent work ethic, and I think you will really succeed both in this mission and in anything you do! Well done!!
If you are anything like me - you might feel a bit bereft when you get rid of the debt. It has been such a big part of my life for so long now, that now its gone it feels very strange - im obviously really happy it has gone - but I still feel a bit strange. Its hard to explain. Im focusing on building my savings up and repairing my credit rating - which is horrendous if im totally honest! But hey ho - onwards and upwards!!!
Keep up the good work - I have subscribed and will be cheking in on you, have a good weekend! Ped. x0
