£300 payrise and £670 bonus. I'll get taxed about 25% on that but still should be £500 extra fingers crossed. That's going to cover my holiday £200 and the rest will just get my overdraft down.
I need to start getting out letters to get all my credit card charges back now! Need to remember my cheque book for work!
Oh that's fabulous! It must feel so nice. Congratulations.
My work has said there will be no pay rises and no bonuses this year for anyone (including the top mgmt). But hopefully no redundancies either so better than nothing - our competitors having been laying people off in a big way.Mortgage (original/ current):193,000 (23/09/11)/ £102,500 (07/11/2019)

Yes - to be honest it's about half the bonus we had last year but I'm just glad to be getting a bonus - I was expecting less!!
Just paid £961.90 to MBMA - couldn't make a large payment over the phone so what with internet banking that's blatantly going to rack up a couple more days interest - will check next bill I get to make sure I don't get late payment fees or anything!!Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
well done on the payrise and the bonus, we've got payrises this year, but it's not an industry which gives bonuses. Guess i'm just glad i have my job0

Well Just checked my bank balance after everything has gone out... I have £133.06 left in there. I also have £15 already in my purse. Not sure whether to say that's a £100 off my overdraft or pay another £100 to my Barclaycard? I'm paying off my Barclaycard on payday either way.. so if I say it's £100 off my overdraft, I'll have to pay off my Barclaycard and stick to budget off next months wages. Makes sense to me I think....?

Everything is heading in the right direction :T
When you pay the money off your overdraft - don't forget to ask the bank to reduce your limit so you cannot be tempted to rack it up again!

Just caught up. An extra 3 months is nothing in the grand scheme of things!
Congrats on booking your trip! And cheap too! It will be wonderful to have something to look forward to.
WELL DONE on your payrise & bonus! Wow! That's amazing news.

Can I reduce my overdraft in £100 amounts? I'll have a talk to them about it on pay day maybe reduce it to £1300 and push myself a little more next month what with the bonus coming in!? I think I will need to reduce it - my will power isn't all that!!Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270

I reduced one of mine in £50 amounts - I got a funny look from the woman behind the counter the first time - "no-one REDUCES their overdraft....." but then it was done without any problem! Over the phone is even easier!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Oh good - I really think I'm going to need to do it... as much as I feel I have the will power at the moment, I'd like the temptation to be removed reallyDebt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270
