Thanks, feels really empty doing all this at the moment. All this brings me closer to my target of the end of may though!! If I continue to manage £600 towards debts a month plus an extra £200 then I'll make that target. It was a really hard target to aim so the fact it's more within sight already should mean a lot!! Need to send off asking for money back off the rest of my credit cards now!! Will take a few £10 chqs but more then worth it!!Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270

I'm just catching up, as I have been absent all week.
I'm so sorry to hear about your break-up, but as others have said, you're bettering yourself, present AND future by doing this. It's not something you're going to be doing for the rest of your life, only for a very short %! If he can't see that... well, maybe it's for the best. He should understand you from your soul to your skin, what your motivations are, why you're doing this... and he doesn't! I'm so disappointed for you.
I hope you're feeling better now. I'll throw in some Maltesars Ice Cream bars with those Jaffa cakes. xoxoDebt @ LBM 29/12/08 - £49044! So I had a weekend off debt.. which is probably going to put me back for I felt like I needed it!!
Went to my friends wedding and phoned in said I couldn't work and went to the reception as well. Spent about £30 on the afternoon and evening on food and wine, had a really good time and got a lift home, then had a NSD Sunday as went round my parents and went for a walk.
Am knitting myself a beret to keep myself busy.
Feel like there's more ups then downs now and hopefully a bit more in control of my emotions now. Still a long way to go but I'm getting there still!! Made a £1.49 PAD today and going to go get some lunch now, going to buy some salad for the week as I'm still not feeling hungry at all!
Wish this had all turned out different but oh well
Told my Mom about how much debt I had left and she's glad I'm getting it down...Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
Hi hun!! Glad you had a good weekend - sometimes you need to have a "little" blow out just to make your self feel better - but you are still doing so well with the PAD's!! Keep it up!
Be back later - should be working! Hmmm.start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

In the grand scheme of things, I think a weekend "off debt" and to go to a friend's wedding is just what the doctor ordered - and to have only spent £30, well that is not bad at all! Just think how it would have been just a few months ago!
So you started March well, with a NSD - which is better than I did - I was soooo tired I got a takeaway in for everyone for dinner last night - don't dare mention it on my own diary, so it is a secret, ok!?! It was yummy, though, and OH and DS are having leftovers for their lunch today :rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes.
