  • I keep looking at more folders. I have about 7 now but they are all so pretty .. I really want to get the swirls ones next. But with my new love of promarkers over whispers pens. I will have to hold fire on buying it i think :(

Has anyone else found with the embossing folders that they are great to use paper in the pattern ones. But with things like the lace tree you cant get away with it ? You really need to use card stock or it crumples.

I have noticed that my lace tree folder leaves a crumpled bit at the bottom no matter what I use, it is rubbish for paper though like you said. It is marginally better on cardstock but mine still leaves a crease at the bottom.

You should sell your whispers!! ... OH has told me I am not allowed whispers as the ones I have I haven't used and need to sell :( he also said I need to wait til I can buy promarkers!

Couldn't wait to have a play with my new nesties, so made this ultra quick card using Basic Grey Sugared papers and the free stamp from last months Creativity mag.

Rusty Promarkers are great, i find it easier when i am just using them as pens, But i do love my whispers for watercolouring. Oooh decisions

    Afternoon everyone!

Louby Lovely card I can't believe your stash that's amazing, how organised are you! Hope your DS is ok? my DS is 2 1/2 and we haven't had chicken pox yet I'm not looking forward to it.
Rusty I'm loving your cards on your blog, they are stunning
    Dragonllew Fab plane card!
Gemm I love your Christmas challenge card it's gorgeous!
Legweaks I love your Swansea Football team card, that's my local team!!

Well I haven't been making any cards this week, I'm on a mission to lose my last 4lb which will take me to my target weight, so I will be 2stone lighter! I've been working so hard this week aerobics and the gym I'm determined to get it off!

Am I the only one on here that hasn't got a cuttlebug now?! I'm so gutted!!! I bought the Xcut Impress which seems to be doing the job, but deep down I would have liked a cuttle!!

I'm muttering choccy's new mantra - I'm going to start the no nesties club :rotfl:.

Have been quite good only bought some Funky Fairy downloads and a USB stick to back them up on :p.

I seem to remember seeing that the crumple is a problem with the lace tree die and think they said run it through the machine sidey ways - don't have it so don't know if it works or not but might be worth a try

I have my phone charger back good old mum and postie - can take pics now :c)
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

ooh hels well done on your weight loss. I have lost just over 1 1/2 stone in 7 weeks but have a long way to go yet. Must admit i'm feeling better for it already.
My oh offered me a pound for every pound i lose so far i have earned a set of nesties and some promarkers lol.

by the time i've finished i should own every nestie and promarker lol

I don't own an impress but have some impress dies which you can use in the bug . So even if you bought a bug you could still use your dies. very mse. They do some perforated ones for stitching too. Not tried those yet though.
flourgirl fab card loving the nesties.
louby i could do with being so organised

bunbun - I hope your DS is ok, fingers crossed for a speedy recovery x I love your anniversary card, the image is fab :T

JHB - oh no, you don't sound yourself. I'd go for the Martha Stewart punch but then I don't have a Cuttlebug like most of you lot  :rotfl:

hels, very well done on the weight loss, that's fab :D You are not alone in not having a Bug, me and Mel don't have them either :(;)

Padster, hope your shoulder is feeling better today x

I spent this morning making up and wrapping my journal jars for the craft fair and got some cheapie mugs in Home Bargains so popped some coffee/tea/chocolate sachets in them and wrapped in cellophane. Not exactly crafts I know but they may sell? Need to make some labels for them.

Ooohh also bought the latest copy of Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine and made these last night with the freebie papers and die-cuts...
