  • Hiya all

I love all your cards and you have given me courage to do my first card.

I have all the bits I think I need but I'm looking for (if one exists) an insert that is cloudy around the edge so you could type a verse or something in the centre (I hope I've explained it ok) and was wondering if there was a site that does them free.

I've had a look at a few sites and I couldn't find what I was looking for.

Feel free to print them off and alter them how you want
I have a CD-ROM that allows you to make your own inserts I brought it from http://www.butterflyuk.co.uk/index.php?act=viewCat&catId=30 and its so good I wouldnt be without it now. Your looking for one with Image Layer Fader They are £8.99
http://www.butterflyuk.co.uk/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=267 is the one I have + the christmas one
If you have Microsoft Publisher on your PC you can also do a version of them but it can be tricky getting the fading
I you have got it let me know I will try my best to do a tutorial ( not very good at those sort of things so bare with me)
I will also send you all I have via email file if you PM me your email addie...It might take me a couple of days to do it because I have a lot on righ tnow but I will get round to it before the weekend
Or if there is one sort you have in mind and dont have publisher I will make it then scan it in for you
If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel

odollybird, welcome to the thread, I hope you get better soon.

I did a tutorial for people on a different thread, the link is here, it should be fairly easy to follow.

saveapenny thanks for posting the links, some lovely paper there.
I'm going to attempt some cards this afternoon I've always used pre-done cards but I'm going to try and cut and score my own, can anyone give me the sizes of a standard card please?
    :xmassmile Looking forward to December:xmassmile
  • Hi everyone, I have recently brought some papers and sparkly things and want to start making cards, your's all look so professional, my couple of attempts are prety boring compared to them, do you mind if I stick around and steal some of your inspriation and creatity?!!
I don't really want to spend lots of money so I'll be searching free paper downloads and trying to track down cheap toppers, any advice would be great!
