I would just like to say that there are never any "RUBBISH" cards on this thread. Every one is extra special as it is made by ourselves from the heart and because of that it looks fab and means so much more so no more putting your creations down. The only rubbish cards are the shop bought ones (unless they are handmade of course:rotfl: )

Well said busybee and thanks xxx

Hello Abusybee Can you tell me which frame die? Was it a Cuttlbug die or a Sissx? I'm on the verge of ordering some Sissix dies from their sale as recommended by Paddingtondoo on the Cuttlebug thread.
    Thank you

Noone told me there was a cuttlebug thread!!! I'm never going to get on with my housework!!!

Marg - Funky square frames was the name of the die and it is the cuttlebug range. I got it from ebay for £1.95 deliver and it was new in the packet so I though it was a bargin. Hope this helps.

Mellissa - The flower card is made with Paper mania venetian skies paper and vellum and the flowers are punched out of glitter card and attached with brads. The punches were polly's that I used one night when we had a craft session.

Skiergirl - I don't have loads of ideas. I have to be in the right frame of mind but once I am and all my craft stuff is scattered around I just start putting colours, papers, toppers etc together and see what matches and sort of throw it together but then one leads to another and so on. There have been many an occasion when I have stared at my stuff blankly and it has taken about 3 hours just to do one.
    :heart2::rotfl: :rotfl: :heart2:I LOVE A BARGIN:heart2: :rotfl: :rotfl:
TIME TO START SHOPPING FOR NEXT CHRISTMAS
    I LOVE THE SALES!!!!!

Hi Fluffybishop, welcome to the thread :)

I did a tutorial for uploading photos on the finished baskets thread. Quite a few people have found it useful.

here is the link, hope it helps.

Hello Abusybee - Thank you for the info re frames - yes, sounds like a bargain to me! The cuttlebug thread is only very small but this is the link to it - mostly me asking for advice!
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1357753

Fluffybishop & Skiergirl - getting pics on here involves registering on photobucket getting your photos on there & then following the instructions on post 651 of flannel cakes thread (http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=622943&highlight=flannel&page=33) Rosekitten did them if I remember rightly. Rainmac told me about it further back on this thread & I used them for the first time at the weekend.

    Hope this helps!
PS Rustyflange - Didn't know you had done instructions they look easier to follow!

wow what a lot of posts since I last looked!

firstly welcome to netwinkle and fluffybishop - make sure you show us some of your creations soon!

busybee - love your butterfly card :) and I have those pink & purple papers, and the Glamour ones on your frame one as well, we obviously have similar taste! lol

rusty - great male card, that was very speedy! so simple yet so effective :)

I made a trip to my local craft shop after work today and got a decoupage sheet of f1 cars and rally cars so I can get to work on my next challenge card soon! I normally stick to my comfort zone, i.e. girly handbags/flowers type, I think these challenges will certainly drag me out of my normal style and diversify :)

I also bought a corner rounder punch after seeing Dawn bibby on QVC demonstrate one yesterday. I am loving the craft evenings this week (mon-wed 7-9pm), not necessarily to buy stuff but I love watching to get ideas and to see different techniques used.

by the way, what's a paper crimper? (saw it mentioned a few posts ago)

sorry for the long post all!
