Oooohhhh don't get my started about the school meals . We've been told no 'treats' just healthy food but the canteen serves chips at least once a week and pretty fattening puddings...

my two have school dinners and they frequently have choc sponge. even they can't see why they can have that on school dinners but packed lunch children can't take cake:confused:

Lovely cards Polly and Mary :D

    Here's a few more I made

The 'get well' one is rather blurred but it is made using a DL size card and the paper is cut to make it look like a bed, with a miniature get well card and bunch of flowers.:D

Sorry off topic but had to scream, my daughters school has just told me that she can only wear school colour bobbles only. Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

What colour bobbles does she need to have? - I have loads of new ones here that DD has refused to wear that I'll put in the post if they're the right colour.
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Dark Green, yack yack yack yack or Yellow but I do not like Sinead in too much yellow as her polo shirt is yellow.

I had to be naughty today I have no card blanks left, so bought some cheap blank cards from halmark. They have forever friends on the front, just going to use some of my papers and cover over them and use them.

Not sure if it will work  but hey £1.89 for ten cards is a bargin they should have been £3.49.:money:

I get round it by making flapjacks and sort of healthy looking biscuits but I don't have the time to bake all the time so he takes fruit and yogurt mainly and thankfully he's fine with that :D I gave DS1 a slice of DS2's chocolate birthday cake for lunch the next day and didn't get any complaints :T

My son's only 4 so having packed lunches helps as I know what he's eaten by what he brings home if that makes sense but I'd love him to have hot dinners when he's a bit bigger so I didn't have all the lunchbox making every night!
