Hi thanks your your good wishes, I do feel much better today.
Rainmac - well done you:beer:
Flourgirl - I agree if its a trapped nerve some physio might help, I also swear by my wheatbag which goes into the microwave and gets hot then you can drape, wrap, fold as necessary over the area. The heat helps the surrounding muscles to relax which is very helpful.
Melissa and Bunbun - Thanks in advance for bring up your children to be polite and respectful, if all parents did this we would have a much happier world. (right off me soapbox)
Going over to CP to post my Summer card0 -
Hello everyone. I've just posted a couple more cards on my blog.
http://teabagscraftybits.blogspot.com/
Am trying ever so hard to resist buying a cuttlebug at the mo but I can feel my resolve weakening. My friend is off to the US at the end of this week so if I buy one before she goes I'll be able to get her on the lookout for bargain dies and folders but I don't NEED it, I just WANT it!
If anyone was wondering about that magazine subscription with the free fiskars goodies, I ordered a 3 month subscription but received the goodies. I have queried it because I wasn't expecting them and I had a letter from them saying the minimum subscription was 13 months but that's not what I signed up for. They emailed back to say I'm definitely only signed up for 3 months. I used my new border punch on one of the cards posted. Will have to get to grips with the shape cutter when I have a bit more time.
Re kids - I hate to say it and I don't know what age you're kids are but in my experience, you can bring up a beautifully behaved child but the day they first go to school can be the beginning of the end.
I've finally managed to move schools for my son (took 3 and a half years of blood sweat tears and appeals). He's in a much nicer school now and I'm hoping that he'll revert to his old ways but fear the damage has been done. The attitude of that boy! He's like I remember myself being as a teenager! He can have beautiful manners when he wants to but, particularly if he's got an audience, he can be a proper little diva. Sometimes, I'm at my wits end what to do with him.0 -
Thank you for looking.
I got it from Artymiss.
BTW, Paddington I've just sent you a PM on CP
So you have :rotfl:.
I'm not a great fan of Artymiss - last order I had from them took aaaaaaaggggggges.
The craftsuperstore ones look quite good.
My new mackintosh stamps arrived today only ordered on Sunday - they look gorgeous but a couple are very big - will have to use my long sizzix plates as blocks - I got these and these - have squirrelled them away till the weekendOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

I've hear The Craft Superstore ones are good.
I tried to make some cards this evening but my inspiration is dry. Hopefully I will retrieve it!
I was using a stamped image, painstakingly cutting it out when I realised I really don't like it at all! It's one that I bought from a set of Penny Black stamped images off ebay and the seller didn't send the ones she had listed but substituted other ones. I was quite annoyed as basically I didn't get what she said she was selling.
I'll post them as RAK on CP as I really don't like having stuff about that I don't like (they are nice but just not my style)
Anyway off to bed now as crafting mojo has vanished."Finish each day And be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and Absurdities have crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can."

OAP Please please be careful with your wheatbag. Tonight on local TV news was a report about a 80 year old woman who died when the bed caught fire from a wheatbag. Apparantley she had microwaved it for too long then put it in bed and kept it hot, it caused it to catch fire and set fire to the bed. The sad thing was her son had bought it for her because they were worried she might burn herself filling the hot water bottle. So please follow the instructions and only microwave it for the recommended time. I don't mean to scare you but do take care.0 -
Congratulations rainmac - that's so exciting!! I'll have to search through my old magazines to see which ones have good prizes for printing cards, then maybe start trying a few.
Flourgirl - hope you get your shoulder sorted. Is it getting in the way of your crafting? I'd imagine it would make some things quite tricky to do.
Saveapenny - hope you are okay? Hope the holiday is sorted too x
Dawnteabag - great cards, I've left a comment.
Louby-lou-lou - hope today went okay for you.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -

I havnt even been in my craft room for days, I realy need to get going I have so much to do and I cant believe how much I have fallen behind with stuffIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -
Dawnteabag - lovely cards I especially like the baby one.
Padster - Lovely stamps they look so good I almost wish I could stamp.
Flourgirl - Poor lady with wheatbag! I was chatting a friend of mine tonight who'd had a trapped nerve in her shoulder & she said she'd had a cortisone injection which had helped. She'd been told it's a tensed up muscle that traps the nerve & the cortisone relaxes the muscle. Not sure if that's helpful for you or not........
I've just spent all evening trying to colour (with my printer) one of those scalloped cards right to the edge & failed miserably. I did it once a few weeks ago but I've forgotten how! So frustrating!!! If anyone has any suggestions I'd be pleased to hear.0 -
Good Morning Everyone
I have been AWOL for a few days stressing about the Sketch Challenge ! I have just been staring at all my card bits for 4 evenings not having a clue where to start ! Anyway, I did it last night :j :j
I also got my first ever card order ... for a sympathy card ! Thankfully, I had recently made one for my Mum to send to someone so I just copied that and added a stitched flower in the corner. I will add it to my blog in a minute as I was quite pleased with it.
Anyway, the youngest is beginning to stress so I will have to go.

Have a good day, everyone x0 -

Wow, they are gorgeous!!! Looking forward to seeing what you do with thoseI don't need them, I DON'T NEED THEM...
I bought a couple of stamps yesterday...
They are by Inkadinkado, I think they are cute and only £1.99 each (but p&p was £3 so it makes them £3.50 each ). If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
