Louby sorry about your S-I-L's sad news.

I've just uploaded a pic of my sketch challenge card onto my blog. Thanks flourgirl for setting it - I really enjoyed working with the sketch:

Hi all - :grouphug: to anyone who needs them - feels a bit off sending hugs to strangers but I do like this place and the people in it!. Also Belated Birthday wishes to Rusty xx Congrats on getting your bug!

I had a fab day in London yesterday - bought fab shoes, took in a Dali exhibition, had 2 lovely meals out and got a lie in this morning - perfect!

She-grinch - the card (and hair!) is fab. I find male cards so hard but yours is really simple and beautifully executed.

npsmama - your faux quilting cards are beauftiful - the one with the gorjuss girl is just my colour - and I love your doodling stitching. I can't beleive no one asks you to make cards - they are really lovely. Post pals sounds a great idea though..

Craftygranny - your cow image rocks!

EmmaOC - great idea about packaging a few cards as a gift - I think Ishall be doing that at Christmas this year. Can't believe your SIL didn't offer you any money for the card - even if you wouldn't have taken it (I would've though!)

Saveapenny - sorry to hear your feeling bad - I don't know your history but hope it's nothing too serious.

    Dragonllew - welcome back!

Paddington - wow! The Mackintosh influence looks fab - what are fat pages though??

cgcockcraft - lovely card. I'm inspired to have a go at something black and white now!

Kim - I think swapping sounds a great idea - will have to pop over to Craft Place and see what's happening!

Louby Lou Lou - that is a lovely sympathy card, I think it hits exactly the right note.

Melissa - your challenge card is stunning. I'll upload mine later!

    PS - WHat's a RAK??

RAK = random act of kindness
Fat pages are either big ATC's or small square cards depending on how you look at it and are put together to make a book. More info on the ATC swap on Crafty Place. :D
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Mrs Tidge a RAK is a relocation job, me relocating stuff to you or a logistics excercise using royal mail, ie my pile getting smaller , your pile getting bigger. It's stuff I wont use again especially Forever Friends, my grandaughters are too grown up for that now, I'm looking at Hannah Montanna for the girls this year. Phew, where did time fly to?

Hi all i am after some advice I have had the inention of offering some blog candy, but allsorts of problem kept popping onto my head ie shipping abroad etc. I am not really bothered about gaining more followers or anything like that.
So what i was thinking was what if I did up a couple of smaller parcels maybe 2 or 3 and asking if anyone on here or cp is interested then puting names in a hat and picking out 3 names?

What do you think of that idea ? Do you think I should do it here or over on cp ( i think maybe cp would be better). Do you think I cans specify that i dont want to send overseas?

sorry for so amny questions i just really want to give something back to all the generous people on here.

mumhug that's very generous of you and I think people will quite understand about the expense of sending anything overseas. Our own inland postage gets beyond a joke at times.

I think people on this thread are extrememly kind and generous sharing their goodies and stash it is a really feel good place and I love it over here! It's prob best to do the RAK's on CP but it can be done here too! You can stipulate anything you want re giving them away eg not abroad, only if posted a certain number of times, no furrypigs etc etc as it is your goodies so it's your call and it is v generous of you (and the others offering things!)

Thank you for showing there is still goodness in the world!!
