Morning Ladies,
I am off work today with a frozen shoulder so am propped up in bed with a hot water bottle on it. Even though it hurts alot, I couldn't resist coming on here to catch up on what you've all been up to over the weekend!
Firstly a massive thanks to Melissa for the goodies she sent me. I haven't seen them yet as I got them posted to my Mams address but I gave her permission to open up the parcel & she says everything is lovely & to say thankyou from her too! Love your cards that you have made recently too.x
Rusty A belated Happy Birthday to you! Hope you had a fab one.
Thanks very much for the secret stash info. I've only had a quick peek but it looks amazing! Can't wait to use some of them next time I make some cards.
That's great that you have a shop selling your nappy cakes! They are gorgeous, wish I was as talented as you. What shop is it, is it one anywhere near me?
Have you got your Cuttlebug yet? My Mam & I got one recently & I love it! They are so easy to use.

Rainmac Hope Thomas is all better now. I like your crafty place challenge card, it's very summery.
Thanks for the link to the Lili of the Valley Sale. Somehow some polar bears, a dragon & some butterflies jumped into my basket!! It must be because they are three of my most favourite things so wanted to be with me coz they knew i'd love them!
Npsmama I'm so glad your little one is ok, what a nasty shock that must have been.

cgcockcroft I like your black & white card. I always thinks monochrome cards look so classy. D&D are so cute aren't they!
Mumhug I don't think people would be offended if you didn't want to post abroad. It is such a kind gesture for you to make. Everyone is so lovely on here!
I think that's everyone covered but if I have forgotten you I am sorry, it wasn't intentional!
I'll try & get some pictures of my cards posted now0 -
A friend at work asked me to make him a card for his Grans birthday. Here's what I came up with0

His Mam was impressed with the card I made so asked if I'd make a wedding card for her & she'd pay me! I was so chuffed. She said the colour theme of the wedding was cream & burgandy. I had no idea what kind of card to make so I just ended making up a selection from her to choose from. Here they are
I think she went with the last one.0 -
Fifi Folle - you're welcome - I get stuff delivered to my Mum's all the time - but she lives 2 hours away. So sometimes I regret it as I have to wait weeks to get my parcels. Beautiful card - I really like the flower and lace - its so pretty.
Mumhug - what a lovely, generous offer.0 -
Fifi Folle - beautiful wedding cards - they're all very different. I think my favourites are the first and third ones - although its hard to choose!0

And last but not least I was at a christening yesterday so made this. I got the idea from here, so thanks to whoever posted it originally!0

Morning all!
First thing, I'd like to apologise for being very behind on commenting on blogs. I don't know why but whenever I type in a comment and try to post it, it just disappears.
I'll try to add a card to the CCC challenge later today, but I think they're using comments to link now instead of Mr. Linky so it probably won't work for me.
I can't remember now how many blogs I've tried to comment on, so will just have to say a general thanks to everyone.
Louby-lou-lou - your sympathy card is very nice, and fitting for the occasion.
cgcockcroft - I love how you've managed to work a D&D image into a monochrome card; it's very effective.
fif folle - you've been busy! Your cards are all very professional looking, I love the flower on the 'gran' card. The pram card is gorgeous; I know I say it every time someone posts one, but I really do love those prams and the different ways they're being incorporated into the cards. I think I was the first to post a link to it, but I prefer everyone else's take on it to mine!some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
Thanks Jailhousebabe. The flower was a topper from Lakeland, which unfortunately you can't get anymore since they've stopped selling all their crafty things.
I really like your take on the pram! I agree with you, I love to see all the different ways people use them on their cards.0 -

Hello, I'm off sick today as well:eek: I've got a water works infection & feel pretty yukky with it, but I should be ok once the antibiotics kick in.
Because I've got time I've had a bit of a browse at a thread I used to visit and I was pleased to see that PinkladyMel is still in the competition on the above blogspot. If you get the chance why not go & have a look and vote for [STRIKE]your favourite [/STRIKE]Melanie Marshall. Am I allowed to say that on here?
All your cards are fab Fifi Folle - hope you feel better soon0 -
Sounds like several people are poorly at the moment so BIG hugs to you all. I can join in the ill club as I've hurt my neck/shoulder and it was really bad on friday and saturday. Been better since yesterday but think the painkillers and hot water bottles have helped.
My DS2 has been loads better since yesterday, he's just really tired, thank you for the kind comments x
Lovely cards everyone, hope I've caught up with blogs today. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
