Hi Ladies,

Melissa you are naughty!!
x Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
So Mel did you buy? And if so what...???
Rusty, I would love a Cuttlebug but haven't got £65 unfortunately
but hope to win the lottery tomorrow night so I will then be buying everything and anything
My little one is poorly AGAIN with an ear infection. He woke up in the night and when we took his temperature it was 40.4  Medicine calmed it down but have yet another bottle of antibiotics for him. The GP was quite uncertain about whether to give it to him as she commented he's had several doses so far this year but without medicine ear infections are hiddeous so I am glad we came out with the prescription.
As Thomas is quiet today I've had a chance to make my Crafty Place challenge card, please go and have a look... http://craftyplace.yuku.com/topic/114/master/1/?page=2:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

That is a good deal Rusty, I got mine from there - I treated myself to this deal:
http://www.craftathome.co.uk/special-offer-cuttlebug-machine-alphabet-p-7569.html?cPath=270_271_420
which was the Cuttlebug machine and alphabet set for @£100, which is also good 'cos alphabets are often considerably over £50 so it makes the machine £50 effectively too. They didn't have the alphabet I wanted (Olivia) in stock though so they sent it later.I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
Rusty - I am naughty - but I like it!!! (Is that off an advert?).
Rainmac - yes I did buy some things!! I got some of the stamps - the rocking horse one, the football goal, the mermaid, one of the reindeers and the sledging one. Plus I got a few of the sentiment sheets. So if anyone was thinking of getting these stamps I can stamp them some of the images out when they arrive!!! Sorry to hear that you're little one's sick. I've never had problems with my ears - but I can imagine that its horrible!!0 -
Iv'e got a craft stall tomorrow for my nappy cakes and baby gifts so i have been busy making baby cards all day but i have run out of cello bags to put the last 6 in. do you think they would be ok without or should i leave those 6 at home, i don't want them to get damaged or dirty with people keep picking them up. I will update my blog over the weekend with pics of the cards and stall.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys
Want to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0 -
Louby-lou-lou - good luck with your stall tomorrow - how exciting!!! Whereabouts is it????? I can't wait to see some pics, I am going to attempt my very first nappy cake in the next few days. Have you sealed the other card bags - if not you could put two cards in one bag back to back, then if someone wants one of them just take the other one out - or is that a stupid idea????0

manson666 - that must be so worrying for you, but I would try to take comfort from the fact that they wouldn't make you wait 2 weeks if they thought it was something very bad. I agree with everyone else with regard to your job; surely it can't be lawful to treat you that way?
hels102 - I hope things pick up at work soon so you can get back to normal. Employers really seem to have the upper hand at the moment, probably because they know you're not likely to find employment elsewhere at the moment.
rainmac - I love your cards, but can't comment on your blog.
I don't know what it is, but it's on every blog I've visited over the last couple of days - I type in the comment, select profile (google account), then hit enter and my comment disappears.
npsmama - pics please!
louby-lou-lou - good luck with the craft fair, I'd love to hear how you get on.
fifi folle - I hope you enjoy the concert; I didn't like Take That first time round, but I love everything they've done since their comeback.
At the risk of losing a few friends - I hate BB. I dread all the facebook status updates and everyone I know wanting to discuss it.
But I won't complain if you all discuss it on here - I'll just skip past those posts.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it

Gosh, it looks like a lot of us are having a rough time at the moment
.
My 18mo nearly drowned in the bath yesterday through my own stupid foolishness - i turned my back and when i turned around he was struggling under water - scared me so much i cried and held him all evening.
I'm grateful it happened though as i will never, ever take my eyes off him in the bath again.
There's so much potential for accidents with little ones, through foolishness (like last night) or just plain old accidents - it really scares me to think something might happen to my (or anyone else's) children.
I think the 'real world' is why I need cardmaking/scrapbooking so much - it's pure escapism that also happens to be 'healthy' (though maybe not the best thing for my bank account
).
Anyway, sorry to go on.
I hope things pick up for us all. It's a shame it's the beginning of the month and we have to wait another 2 weeks for the swaps - they would give many of us a very much needed warm fuzzy feeling i'm sure."Finish each day And be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and Absurdities have crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can."
