MrsTidge and mygeorgie I'm sure Rusty will be along soon to answer your questions.

Evening all, if Rusty does come on could I be cheeky and ask for the 'secret info' too? ;)

I've been watching Big Brother too so can I join in with those convos (maybe we should have it on Crafty Place?) but I have to say I'm not that impressed with all the obvious stereotypes they've put in - but there's a thread in the Arms if anyone's interested..

I would also like to thank Melissa for the book rings she sent me today, my very first mse crafters gift! :j Thank you so much! :o

Gemm/saveapenny/quiksave - what do you think about the housemates then?????
Mrs. Tidge - thanks for mentioning the secret crafter - their prices are quite reasonable when it comes to the promarkers. I am tempted to buy some more single ones!!!
Craftygranny - what a lovely husband you have!!!
Paddingtondoo - I use ivory and blush in the promarkers for skin tones. The ivory is the lighter one of the two. I have started experimenting with them and sometimes use both of them to create a bit of shading.
Oap - thank you - you are very welcome!!
Melsharpshooter - you are welcome too - I'm just glad that you decided to come on and post!!
Quiksave - I hope the rings were okay, I'm glad you got them so quick.

Hels102 - Posted (not) blog Candy today. Sorry to hear about pay cut problems.

Gemma - Card also posted! Your challenge card is really good, so handy to combine it with an order.

Furrypig - Lovely card for your friend - my brother & SIL went through the school appeal process - it was very traumatic so I'm sure your card will be appreciated very much by your friend.

    Flourgirl - Fab retirement card

Rainmac - Your stitched cards are lovely, is the stitching enough to anchor the pieces to your base card of do you have to stick them as well?

Dawnteabag - hope your Mum is feeling better today

    LucyLu - Bargains! well done!

Craftgranny & Bunbun - hope you health improves very soon

The Wife - Well Done on getting your blog sorted - I'm following - yours & I think most of the others. My blog is still too basic to publicly announce it & has nothing on it yet.... Your sketch challenge card looks very sophisticated

Flourgirl - thanks for the link for cheap ink I've bookmarked it sadly may not use for a while as just got some (much dearer) from Tesco

Mumhug - Your Thomas card is super - did you get the poster that was on offer a few weeks back? I got it for my great nephew who is a Thomas fan - I scanned it before I sent it to him in case I needed to make a card in the future - not sure if it would be of any interest as it's in 4 pieces but I could email if you wish. Fab bookatrix too.

Louby Lou Lou - Very pretty card

Phew! think I've caught up - for a while.... sorry if I've missed anyone

    Hi Everyone,

Been really busy the past few days so haven't had a chance to get on here much, athough I have been sneaking a peek at work to try & catch up........you lot can sure chat! :D I have made quite a few cards though which I will try & post soon.

Well done Rainmac for winning the last challenge. :T
I will try my best to join in with this challenge but my Great Auntie is visiting from Florida for 3 weeks & she is staying in my old room at my parents house aka The Craft Room so I may not be able to get to my cardmaking things!!!! She is arriving Saturday hence me making lots of cards while I still can & trying my best to get my flat spotless for when she comes around.

Fab cards everyone, I'm sorry I don't have time to mention them all seperately. I should be fast asleep by now, I have work 2moro & then I'm off to see Take That :j

Rusty Hope you are doing ok. Could I have the link & password to your secret place too please?

Welcome to the newbies! I look forward to seeing your cards.

Thank you Melissa75 :A:A:A for the lovely surprise I received today! It was wonderful and really cheered me up. So many goodies, made me a bit teary to think you would send me all those lovely things. It has made me motivated to make some cards again.

I'm sorry I haven't posted on here for a while, I have been a bit low. Consultant phoned me at 9.45pm one night to tell me my biopsy results were abnormal and he really needed to look at them and see me immediately, but he was going on holiday for 2 weeks so I will have to wait to see him on the 15th! It would have been better if he hadn't told me anything.

On top of that my boss wrote to tell me that when I come back to work my job has gone - there is other work coming into the dept but she wont commit to telling me what and my salary has halved, due to being off ill! In fact she wont reply to any of my emails or letters at all.

Need to stop feeling sorry for myself I think.

Sorry if this is too much info, just needed to get it off my chest.

Hope everyone is ok - I am off to read 20+ pages. I may be awhile!:rotfl:

Hi Marg, what I've done is stitch through the layers of paper and then stuck that onto the card so the card itself is completely unmarked ;)

    Hello Everyone

I dread these messages myself ! but just to let you know that I have received an email from Crafts U Love about some Magnolia stamps they have in their clearance section.

    http://www.craftsulove.co.uk/sale_stamps.htm#301

    The p&p is £2.49 which is reasonable-ish !
