Making cards - Ideas for a card craft beginner (part 2)

I am sorry I have been told by hubby it is alot of effort to ask of people to do all that to look at the album. Unfortunatly there are at least 3 pics on each page so its not worth covering up all pics with paper (although thanks for the suggestions) . Never mind will have to post pics of the next one.In Perfect love and Perfect Trust.0

Rainmac What lovely pocket cards, you are so clever. The post it note holders look great too. Well done on doing the run yesterday. :T
Mumhug Hope you are feeling better now. I like your card for the MSE challenge
Craftygranny Hope you are feeling better too
Rusty Hope you & your family are ok & that you enjoyed your day at the beach. I thought the idea of the balloons was so lovely.
Rinroo Welcome. :hello: When my Mam & I first started making cards, we found it really useful to watch the papercraft show on QVC to get ideas. It's usually on, on a Tuesday from 2 until 4pm. We've never actually bought anything from QVC as it can be quite expensive. We record it so we can spin through the parts we don't want to watch & pause the bits that we do while we jot down ideas. I look forward to seeing some of your cards
KimPossible What a great male card, was it difficult to make? I like the CCC card on your blog & absolutely love your apron card, it is so pretty!
MrsTidge Welcome :hello: Looking forward to seeing some of your cards
Popkins I like your shopping card. My Mam saw it & said it would be the perfect card to send to me - she's right, i'm a shopaholic!
LucyLu What a fab cupcake card, it looks yummy!
Flourgirl Great apron card & male card. I like your idea to have a sketch challenge next
Louby-lou-lou What a good Fathers Day card. I totally agree with you about Lakeland, it's such a shame they stopped selling the craft things
Quicksave What a clever idea using a cd case, it looks fab!
Furrypig - Great football card. I think I might do a Newcastle one for my bf for his birthday next month.
Hope I haven't missed anyone off, I had so many posts to catch up on!0 -

WOW qwiksave thats a very goth looking card Well done :T
Furrypig love your thanks card, the brad in the middle of the "a" is so simple but extremely effective. I like sticking letters on at a quirky angle, it looks more interesing than straight. Brilliant :T Also your football card is fantastic, the decoupage is perfect :T can't believe you have never done it before. Could you put the link up for the papers please or PM it to me, pretty please:D
Mumhug Your football crazy card is fab, the player looks a right cheeky chappie :T
I didn't use a template for the apron card I just used an A5 card and rounded the corners in by drawing round the roll of DST. Bit of trial and error really. The pocket is made from a 3" scalloped circle (thank you Rainmac) cut in half.0 -
Popkins I'm so sorry I missed your card out.:o It's lovely :T:T I know a few people who would love that card and I love anything pink, so perfect
