Hi,
I have decided against the exploding box until I can practice a bit more so I am needing ideas for a 70th birthday card. (Its for my gran)
I made an exploding box and it was quite easy i dont have a piccy though, I did make this for my mum and MIL for christmas and it went down really well. Dont be put off by it it looks a lot more complicated and it actually is.
and this site gives you the instructions on how to assemble it.

BOBS - just had another "obvious" thought, have you got the envelopes to go with the cards, I know finding square envelopes can be difficult?
Polly - I just finished a card today about 10 mins ago, does that count?
Minimacka - your mini book is fabulous, I love the papers, and I love the ribbon. I've seen the tuturial before but have never attempted it, you're braver than me - well done!0 -
Fantastic book card Minimacka :j :T are you entering it into the Challenge?
Melissa Yes the card you made 10 minuite's ago will count :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Melissa - The card was really really easy to do honest, i practiced the folding on a square piece of scrap paper and once i had mastered the folding bit that was the hard bit done.
Polly - Im going to have a go at this weeks card if thats ok.

Hello I'm hoping to have a go @ the Challenge but IF I do a card I've just realised I have no idea how to get it on here:eek: .
I know before Christmas someone gave instructions how to do it on here but I've just tried to find it & can't - perhaps the person who gave the instructions will remember & tell me where to find it? Please?
Sorry to say 'the person' but I've no idea who?0 -
Thanks minimacka I will give it a go, my only problem is I am limited at to the card making stuff I have. I have not been able to afford to get any more in so will raid through my stuff and see what is left.
