LJM - I have two boys so the berry sweet isn't really suitable for them! I always try and watch Dawn Bibby on qvc but I don't often buy anything from them, having said that I've just ordered the big bite eyelet setter/ hole punch thingie.

Sounds like a great idea Polly, I will try to join in, (you know how useless I am).
Rusty Flange - so glad you're back, I used to love seeing your scrapbook pages!

Hi Melissa, thankyou :) I can't guarantee that I will join in every challenge as my cards are normally completely rubbish and I think my feeble attempt at my sons birthday card just annoyed me so much that I haven't really bothered since.

My Daughter is 2 in May and I would like to attempt a Winnie The Pooh card for her but as yet I haven't started it.

Thanks for the reminder about scrapbook pages, it's OH's birthday in 15 days and I was supposed to do a page for his birthday but had forgotten .... wonder if I can find some christmassy things still from somewhere as I have a lovely picture of the children which would look quite nice ;)

Sorry ladies can I ask a stupid question please .... I have just looked at the link someone provided for the papermania scrapbooks which are cheap at docrafts, I was wondering is that just the actual scrapbook? or is it papers aswell? Reason I ask is I am thinking of a scrapbook for my dad and stepmum so something cheaper would be ideal, but it doesn't mention there are papers in there aswell which makes me think that it is just the scrapbook.

I think some are just the scrapbook and some are kits with papers and embelishments. I am interested in those for presents so would like to know too!
rusty if I can make cards you can too especially as your scrapbook pages are so lovely (not something I have attempted yet!). remember simple is sometimes just as effective:rotfl:

Rusty - the top half are kits, which include the scrapbook plus papers and embellishments. If you click on the number code it'll show you a picture of what you get, some of them look lovely. The bottom half of the page is just the scrapbooks themselves. Rainmac is just as bad as me for K and Co stuff!

I'm simple :D .... or did I mean I can do simple

I love doing scrapbooks but they are nowhere near as good as some I have seen! although I guess its always the way with everything there will always be people who do things better, and I guess you never give yourself as much credit as you probably should!!

Jane I think we need to go craft shopping :rotfl: you seem to have loads of lovely things and I never see anything like that!

  • RustyFlange, if you click on the product code, it shows you what's included. For example, the first item on the page shows this included, so yes it is a kit :D

Just noticed, you don't have to click on link - just hold your mouse over the picture and it shows you as well. If it says kit, you get more than just the book. HTH x

And just realise that melissa beat me to it! Never mind ;)
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Jailhousebabe, sorry looks like I was being thick ... the one I was looking at just says scrapbook on the title, the one you did and a fair few of the others actually say kit.

Sorry guys, it's been a long day :(
