Thanks for all the suggestions- i thought i was being silly cause i followed the directions to the letter abd it came out tiny [slightly bigger than my hand]- I was expecting a decent sized card.
    Thanks again

Think I might have answered my own question about the blogs, and being able to see the blogs that I am following. However, for some reason on some blogs that I am following, my face now appears twice, and I can't work out how to delete one of them. I'll carry on trying, but want to say sorry in advance to anyone who is affected by seeing my ugly mug twice :rotfl:.

    Sorryxxx

Can I ask a few stupid questions please?

I am in the throws of making a card ... (not my strong point) but think I have figured out where I might be going wrong ...

I was using foam pads before for most things which obviously was no good for what I was using them for.

    Sooooo

What do you use to stick your paper to the card? Also what do you use to make a hole for brads? even if to just start it off?

Also do your cards bend after you have made them? mine is just pulling itself up, they alwayd do and I end up leaving them in a book or under a book til they are flat again!!!

I use double sided tape to stick just about anything to anything :p.

For small holes I have a small handheld punch thingy that looks a bit like a pair of pliers but I used to use the good old blue peter favourite a compass and a ball of blue tack :D any bigger holes get crop o diled but I've found the smaller hole in this too big for small brads.

The only time I have curly card is when I heat emboss coz I'm in too much of a hurry and hold it too close :rotfl:
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Hi Rusty I use double sided tape to stick most things on my cards I go through rolls of the stuff. I use pva for sticking small gems on. I have a pritt stick and glue dots but don't find them very good. I use foam pads for things I want to appear raised and decoupage. For making holes for brads I have some hole punches that look a bit like pliers but if I need the hole to be further into the card than the punch will reach I use the tip of my craft knife to make a small hole to puse the brad through. hth
I have uploaded another card onto my blog found this one really hard to decorate. http://dragonllew.blogspot.com/
