Paddingtondoo - I think everyone's experiences are different. It is painful, I am nervous about giving birth again, but its all worth it in the end. People say you forget it - I didn't - but you end up laughing about it after the event.

That weren't me - I've done my bit for the world population and fortunately OH has been done :rotfl:.

I had DD the "normal" way (if there's anything normal about it) and DS came out of the sunroof after 36 hours of labour. I only get broody about baby budgies now :rotfl:

Mine were 8 hours and 2 hours and no pain relief with either. I am a complete wimp, if I can manage it and live to tell the tale, anyone can ;)

    Rusty, 72 hours

You lucky thing! ... I had 2 different pain reliefs with DS but DD I barely had chance for gas and air ... They put me in a side room, with a broken buzzer ... I tried to shout down the far end of the ward at 1 ish ... they ignored so I tried to get off the bed to walk down there (that was clever) luckily someone came in just after 1:30 and saw me struggling to even catch my breath!!! so I was then whisked down onto the labour ward ;)
With DS I started on the Friday morning .... didn't think nothing of it cause EX MIL was such a cow and told me it was nothing and being young I believed her!!! ... then sat night I knew it was something so went next door to neighbours ... sunday morning at 5am I phoned my mum (who had been at a party the night before but not drinking incase ;)) then when mum finally arrived from midlands to manchester things started moving even better .... I went into hospital at 11pm and had DS at 6:34am .... :)

Princesspoppy, the pain can be quite bad, with my first I thought I was dying, but with my second it was bearable (if that kind of pain can be bearable? ..) just as I thought I needed some kind of proper pain relief the midwife shouted push :rotfl: luckily she was stood down there and caught DD when she shot out at 100 mph

Flourgirl - I think like the others have all said ... you can forget it to an extent but you always remember it, although maybe not in all its former glory! lol

Melissa - 3 months will fly by for you hopefully :) and then you will have a lovely little one to keep you busy aswell as 2 bigger ones who I imagine already keep you busy!

Lovely cards, I can't even think of a water theme! ... well I can but know it will look rubbish, I am going to look for some inspiration on the net today see what I can come up with. I also plan to do a tigger card for DD's birthday, I might even stretch myself and try and make cards for mum/gran and grandads birthday whilst I am on!

If you hear screaming don't worry ... it is just me getting annoyed cause I can't make my cards beautiful!

Saveapenny - Thinking of you and your family, hope the little one has arrived into the big wide world safely xxxxx
