Is anyone here in or near Durham? There's a mega lot on ebay - but for collection only. It's a whole load of craft stuff, papers etc., crop-a-dile, sizzix sidekick, and all sorts. Buy-it-now price £150, but bidding starts at 99p (although there is an unspecified reserve on it). There's 2 days left if anyone wants the link?
I'd love the crop-a-dile and the sizzix, but Durham's a bit far for me!
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Mine were 8 hours and 2 hours and no pain relief with either. I am a complete wimp, if I can manage it and live to tell the tale, anyone can ;)

    Rusty, 72 hours

Hubby and I are going to start trying later on in the year but I am really scared also. I`m not good with pain but at least the pain is for something amazing! My Mum said its best not to have anything pain relief, however my friend had everything and said it was agony still!

Sorry I know this isn`t card making! :o

Paddingtondoo - I think everyone's experiences are different. It is painful, I am nervous about giving birth again, but its all worth it in the end. People say you forget it - I didn't - but you end up laughing about it after the event.

Its definatly worth it I don't think you forget the pain you just have better things to remember. My 3 were all very different births, all very long 1st was 36hrs she kept starting and stopping and had to have a helping hand ( much like her now lol), 2nd was about 48hrs but very quick at the end and the 3rd was the most painful as she was back to back.

I envy anyone who is about to start trying for a family, I'd give anything to be able to get pregnant again, but it won't happen - just been told this week by Dr that I'm definitely in menopause now! - lol. I lurrrrve babies.

Looking forward to seeing your bookatrix Poppy, I'm not brave enough to atttempt one of those although I'd like to
