I do look at all your beautiful cards though.
The bookatrix templates I looked at a while ago think it was about £10 from a craft shop locally, but I notice there is only one on ebay with 10 bids! I was toying with the idea as I saw saveapennys beautiful creations ages ago, but never did as like most of you wasn't sure if I would actually use it. There must be a market out there for people who are willing to cut 5 or so cards using the template and then selling them on ebay? surely for 5 pre cut cards you could sell for a few £? I have to admit, having never done a bookatrix card that is what puts me off buying a template cause some of my cards are complete disasters and I get the feeling I would royally screw it up!!!
Hey rusty, I saw someone on Ebay selling precut card bookatrix shapes and boxes so you could decorate them yourself.
Don`t put yourself down about you cards you are very talented and your nappy cakes are fabulous!

Just had a look on ebay someone is selling 4, 3 layer bookatrix blanks for £4.99 incl postage and another seller has the boxes for £10.20.0 -

No you wouldn't  I feel the same though, don't really want to fork out on the template board if it's going to be a 2 minute wonder. From looking at ebay though the 2nd hand sale price is pretty highI printed off the DIY method that saveapenny very kindly provided but I think in order to do it justice I'd need the template. I have scoured ebay and craft sites and found it for sale here for just under £15 with free p&p, cheapest I can find it. I wondered about the market on ebay for selling book pages that people buy to make up and decorate themselves. I did find one seller doing this but her pages were yuck colours. Don't know whether to just buy one???
I am just starting to sort myself out to do a summer craft fair in August and thought the bookatrix would make lovely cards to sell there along with some other crafty wares (journal jars, stitched stuff, door hangers, nappy cakes maybe...). If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

flourgirl, please can I ask for the link to the black & white background paper you used on your recent card, I love it and it will go really well with the art deco decoupage figures I've just bought. I've managed NOT to cut anyones head off yet. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0

Thanks for the link Rusty - I'd had problems too. And by the way, your cards AREN'T a disaster.
Flourgirl - Lovely cards (as usual) You have a real knack of making pretty cards.0 -
The Bookatrix score board might be a wise purchase for you, rainmac, as you would only need to sell a few to get your money back nad your cards are always lovely. I didn't realise how much they sell for but I am sure there's lots of work in them besides all the embellies as well. I'm sure you would be able to resell it after you'd finished with it. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0

The blue/black paper is by Chatterbox and it's called Foyer Hearts. I bought it for 25p for a 12x12 sheet (in the sale) from http://www.everymomentmatters.co.uk/index.php but it is no longer on their website, well I can't find it:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
