Beautiful Cards Mumhug the handbag one looks like embroidered suede, it's gorgeous.

I tried making the book card for the challenge, the lst attempt ended up in the bin because I stuck one piece on upside down. The 2nd attempt is on my desk in bits, but I think the card is too thick because it doesn't fold very well. Think I'll just put it in the bin and make a mini album instead, with my new BG papers.
I did a quick scrapbook page last night and posted a link to it on the scrapbook thread

Saveapenny I have sent you an email. My son had his kidney stones blasted a few weeks ago, he said it wasn't a very pleasant proccedure, so good luck to your hubby.

Thank you for all 'welcome homes'

Gemma Good Luck - once you are numbed up it's not too bad for fillings, like you, I'd prefer a general anaesthetic but my dentist wont do anything more than a couple of valium "to take away some of the anxiety" when I've got to have tooth out. Daft but I try to concentrate on my toes as being as far away from mouth as possible........Try thinking about your trip @ the weekend

Good Luck Mr Saveapenny hope all goes well......

saint_chris - you have been busy, I think they all look great and you've worked really hard. Love the flower one, that's my favourite I think but it was difficult to choose!!

I have been doing a bit of experimenting, don't know if anyone has tried or mentioned this before.

Yesterday I bought some temporary tattoos as I loved the designs and my thinking was well surely they are just like rub ons?

Well I gave it a go, I did have to add a little bit of water to the back like you would if you were putting it on your body, but it worked a treat.

Just have to be careful that you don't get the surrounding paper wet.

Thought I'd let you all know as you can get some gorgeous designs with temporary tattoos and they can be a lot cheaper than rub ons as they are aimed at kids. I paid £1 for about 15 designs.

th_P120309_102201.jpg here is a sample of one of the designs

Welcome home Marg - look forward to seeing your challenge card - if you get around to doing one in between your washing mountain!

Just found out I need to make a 60th card for my Uncle's birthday in 2 weeks. Wasn't sure what to do, and then realised the he is heavily into barn dancing, so wanted to do something to do with that, so will be doing a wordle extract with words associated with barn dancing, but does anyone have, or know where I can get/download some paper that looks like denim, and some checkered print paper in say a red. My idea is to have the bottom half the card in denim paper, the top in checked paper, with the wordle extract in the middle and a cowboy hat that says 'Happy 60th Birthday'.

Thanks for any help and advice you can give me.

I used a denim paper on one of my cards last year. I can't remember where I got it from but will have a look around.
If you get stuck I have some white jeans paper I can send you.
