I bought some whispers markers but I can't get to grips with them. Your cards are lovely, my favourite is the second one.

Sorry Melissa ive snipped you :o , i bought some whispers too and they dont seem to be the colour on the lid do they  . In my lunch 1/2 (ahem) - 3/4 hr today ;) i attempted to colour in my first stamped image that two lovely ladies on here sent me. I dont think its turned out that bad but you do have to check first what colour your getting.

    Hi Saveapenny

I know I am always asking you questions - but you are the fountain of all knowledge, but how do you do your flowers that you have been using recently on your cards ie these blue and purple ones? Is it just a black and white flower that you print directly onto coloured card and then cut it out? I've just got (planned in my head) what I am going to do for a mother's day card and printing some of these in varying sizes would be perfect. Thanks

some lovely cards on here, what is this weeks challenge
  • I've loved all these pink cards for the challenge. There's been too many this weekend to comment individually, but I've loved them all :D

I ended up making a valentine's card for someone after all - well, kind of. My friend came round for a glass of wine on Friday night and asked if I had anything suitable that she could give to her husband  The plan was that she would tell him she made it! I hadn't intended the card as a valentine one, but it was the only card I'd done that had a heart on it. Oh well, nice to know that someone appreciates my cards.

I'm looking forward to the sketch challenge - I've never done that before :)
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Abusybee - really pretty card, I love those images.

Minimacka - it wasn't the colours that I had a problem with - I coloured in the images and you could see the brush strokes and it looked terrible. I tried using a water pen thingie to blend the colours, but it didn't work!! They didn't look too bad when I used them to colour small areas, it was the big ones where it all went wrong.

Mumhug - I have the same problem when it comes to trimmers. The first one I got was one from Asda for 8 quid, I still use it a bit now, but that's just because it takes 12x12 papers, its quite blunt though. Then I moved onto a little fiskers one which soon went blunt, I thought this one would last longer because it was a well known make. Now when I cut anything it leaves a fuzz at the side that I have to trim with scissors.
Paddingtondoo - I'm thinking of asking for that one for my birthday, I think they have it in Argos for 20 quid.

    Welcome to the thread Orchid.

Fantastic cards savapenny. Someone else said it but I have to agree the flowers are great. Are they toppers or have you cut them from paper?

    Thanks for posting it Polly.
