mumhug - i now have an xcut guillotine and wonder why I didn't buy one before - it's made my life so much easier
I think I might go for the x-cut myself the only thing that scares me is the blade (3 kids under 7) will have to buy a big padlock at the same time;)In Perfect love and Perfect Trust.0 -

I am lucky enough to have the spare bedroom to keep all my stuff in ( not sure for how long as one of my son's may be coming home for a few months.most of it is stored in boxes on the large Expedit unit from Ikea,
I really need to have a sort out

Lovely cards again sorry for being non specific I am having trouble typing. Like a fool I have managed to bed my finger back while cleaning and its painfull :-(.
Need to get making some more cards but not having much look, think I have card makers block lol. I want to get started on a mothers day card but I do not know where to start. Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0 -
orchid - welcome to the thread, I'm sure you will soon be creating fab cards and we can't wait to see them!
marg - have been trying to persuade him to let me have a kitten since we moved into our house 18 months ago! I have a feeling that this may be the year though, I've decided I'm not going to shut up about it till it happens!
totally agree with the rest of you, I dread to think how much I have spent since I started! have sold quite a few recently so I think that justifies it, and I just think, if I wasn't spending money on something I enjoy, I'd only be spending it on clothes and shoes that I'd never wear instead! I do try and set myself a budget each month though, already blown it for this month so no more craft shopping for me till march! :rotfl:
gorgeous cards saveapeny, I love those big blue and purple pastel flowers you keep using! are they die cuts or made from punches you have?
abusybee - great card, those heart papers are beautiful!
sounds painful ZLS, it seems the powers that be would rather you be doing cardmaking than cleaning!0 -
I have been trying to upload a pic of the new home card I did with the help of Marg but my camera cable is playing up!! Argh....
I have been asked to do a 75th card for a colleague at work, but I can't find anything suitable, I don't know where to look really.... At the moment my card making consists of sticking toppers onto a card.... so nothing too complicated please!!

CT...Debs..Gemma lovely cards
Orchid...you can also ( if you have a printer) put your cards directly in the printer and print your backing onto them
I will be posting a sketch later on Just have to print it out then scan it back in...I did it in publisher so cant upload it from there
I hadn't thought of that at all!! Thank You.....do you think it would work with the ready folded cards or would it only be ok if you use say a piece of thinner card which you fold yourself! I suppose thinking about it, it will depend on the thickness and the printer (I have just bought a new printer but only a cheapy one a canon MP460 - does anyone else have this one?)
Thanks for all the lovely welcomes by the way, you are a really friendly bunchJun GC £250.00/£12.40 NSD 3 / 30

Zl...Ouch I bet that hurt ...hope it recovers enough to do the challenge:)
Melissa ...thats lovely ..I love that stamp
To all who asked about the flowers they are park of Pink Petticoat blooming monogram range I was going to link to it but it seems as if they have been took off the website for now
But I suppose you could do it by printing a plain colour on a sheet of paper then reversing in and printing the daisy shape on the reverse side or puting A4 printed paper in your printer
If anyone wants any PM me whith what colours you want and I will post some to you
OK this week schalleng is a sketch one
Here are the rules ( guidlines really)
You must stick to the sketch but can add to it
You can use any materials you want
You can use any theme you want ...thats it
I made this one so I havnt took it from anyother site....just made it for us lot
Hope its OKIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -
Thanks for posting the challenge Saveapenny, just hope I have enough stuff to construct another card lol. Had a bit of a throw out today I have totally lost confidence in my card making.
My poor little finger is ok, it's pretty stiff but I was expecting that lol. I did think I had broken it but it is feeling better now. I was cleaning the cupboard, when my finger hit the drawer handle and bent back. Do not think I will be doing that again lol.
Has any one got any ideas on what I can do to make a mothers day card. I can not print out in colour though as my colour ink has gone :-( Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0 -

Ouch ~ hope your finger is better soon... I have printed some Happy Mother's Day wording, similar to the ones on my cards, am happy to send you some of them... I've also made some cute little daisy toppers, again you're welcome to some... x"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke
