Well, I sat down earlier today with the hope of making my first card, when I realised I need scissors :o
I only have some huge ones I use to cut wrapping paper or some tiny ones that I use for sewing.. Can anyone recommend what size I need for general cardmaking and any brands to look out for. Thanks :)

Skiegirl...the ones I use are x-cut and they are brilliant...not sure how much they cost hubby brought them for me a couple of christmas's ago butthey never seem to blunt and clean so easy...I would say they are just a bit bigger than nail scissors maybe 3-3 1/2 inches long. Then I have a pair thats abotu the same size as what the hairdresser uses maybe 5 inches long I got them from a cheap shop I think it was £land

I use big ones for most stuff anyway and move what I'm cutting rather than the scissors and tiny ones for cutting out really tiny bits like under armpits of bears and such.

With a bit of practise you should manage fine its a bit weird moving the card over the blade rather than moving the scissors to start off with.
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
