:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I already cross stitch and hate it lol, it takes too long
    and is too fiddly.

I have many talents that I have tried, I was thinking maybe a layerd card. Might try to have a water fall garden back ground paper with a cross in front on sticky pads.

How can you not love cross stitch, it's fab. I agree it takes a while which is why I only really do little designs ;)

A layered card sounds great. You are a great artist so could make something really special and personal :D

The boxer chipboard is fab isn't it, I just wish they had it in the other ranges too. I've just had an email from craft superstore to say that they have basic grey fibres on bogof - uh-oh! I think their postage is about 4 quid. I'm off to have a look in a minute.

BOGOF, OMG  I daren't look!!! I am going to a craft warehouse tomorrow morning for a look and was hoping to find the fibres there as they stock loads of stuff. Will let you know if they have them and how much they are.

Thanks hunny, I am going to use this image for the back of the card then going to have a think as to how to make the cross for the front of it.

Yes please Rainmac. We don't have anything like that round here, is it far away from you? I don't think I'll get them from craft superstore as I just ordered some stuff from them and i don't think there's anything else there that I want.

Hi ladies ive nearly finished my book card so i thought i would show you what ive done, just to recap my mil wanted me to make one for her sil who is going to be 70 she was a hairdresser so ive incorporated a little bit into it. I havent finished the front cover because the photo i had doesnt show her smiling so i had got another photo from my mil and im going to do the front cover again. Luckily i hadnt stuck it down. Here they are they might be big because i cant get my photobucket to resize them, what do you think.

Its taken me about 1 week on and off, if i had enough time to sit start to finish it would probably take me 5-6 hours. Ive really enjoyed making it though.

Minimacka - that is absolutely stunning. What papers do you use?

There's a one hour show on qvc at 6pm today - "crafting with k and company", hopefully I'll be able to watch it, (probably online).
