Sea, big hugs for you and the kids.
Is he going through a mid-life crisis or does he just want to be an international playboy
I hope it's all going into your diary.....
You are a wonderful mother.
A bad mother would have let him have the children on his original plan of shared custody and he could have farmed them out as he wished.
What a load of drivel about going to a party....on a Tuesday teatime....I think he just wanted to pose in his new toy.

pmsl beanie!! very funny! only recently discovered what that word meant was horrified as used to use it all teh time lol!!
hugs for you sea...stay off the bottle-it just makes you feel worse!
re the scrapping stuff I do know what I'm doing - I'll keep a few choice bits but I have so much craft stuff from so many crafts that its sensible to rid myself of some to give a cleaner and less cluttered home plus money! I enjoy the sewing and beading and occasonal paper stuff but with allotment, church, job, book group, friends etc I just dont have time or energy so silly siting being dead money and I do have a shops worth!
Well done for getting the marking done. Sorry that the x ontinues to be unreasonable but guess that shouldnt surprise now eh! Just leave him to it, dont give him satisfaction and beg for money and go through csa...cant believe hes got a new car when he has debts or was he savvy in making sure that you were left all the debt?!
hang in there youre doing great and are not a bad mother...noone keeps 100% to routine - impossible with what you have to do day to day!!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Sea you are a wonderful mother, from your posts the children have come first, even when the ex was being a pain, you never let the children down, by god u live for them.
I'm so sorry he has gone back on the agreement regarding money, but just get hold of the CSA, and get it on official running, hes just doing everything he can to annoy you, in the hopes that you end up doing something stuipid like slapping him across the face.
Sorry to go on again, but have u changed the locks yet, have u got a solicitor involved yet?
Sorry (again), but have you documented this incident, I just can not believe what he has done with the car, maybe hes trying to reclaim his youth, and trying to impress the girlfriend, but remember one thing u have 2 beautiful children, and you are a wonderful mother.
Have you got a support network, friends etc, that if anything like today happens again, you can call on them.
As for the children being up, life sometimes does go like that, take yesterday for me, a normal 5 hr journey with stops from Exeter, took 10hrs, we didnt get into 8pm, thats dd bedtime, by the time she had a bath, had her ngt drink and did the usual pratting about, it was 9.30pm by the time she went to bed......sods law, but it was one of those things.
Hope Sophie gets better, at least now, you know what it is, uve got a end in sight, hope your ok in all this. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Oh thank you so much for all the lovely messages - they have helped to make me feel much better.
I've realised I need to stop acting like a victim, and start taking control of how I react - in that way he can do/say anything and I will not be affected as badly. What he does will only have as much affect as I let it! However, I think i'm allowed to be a tad annoyed that he booked a day off work today - I'm at home again due to Sophia being ill and work are getting shirty. Hmm.
Well, I want today to be productive, so am going to finish off the circle journals, parcel them up, along with other things I need to send and pop out to the Post Office later today. Do Sophia good to get out a little I think. Also want to get that yr11 marking done, as this weekend I expect to be bringing home a tonne of marking, so need everything clear for that!!
I've done my scratchcard this morning, still just 10p - yet to get some of the luck of others, but I'm not complaining as it's so easy
ooh - I'd quite like to be able to drop off the charity shop bags too, but not sure where I can as got so many!
Feeling more positive today generally. The children are happy and that's the priority - Sophia is drawing many pictures now bless her! Will has gone to the childminder, which is great too.
Thanks again all xx
Hope everyone is good today, despite the rain!

Hi Glad to see you are feeling a bit better today! I know what you mean about feeling a victim - I have had exactly the same thoughts as you on this! I suppose the important thing is where you go from here! You are doing great! You will ahve down days when he really gets to you - but as you see from today these pass and you just get on with it!
Glad Sophia seems a bit better x0 -
