    OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've just got home to a letter from tax credits - i don't believe it is actually true, although I've rung to check, and they confirmed it is correct. I got a payment of £200 yesterday and so have transferred it straight to bcard :) so that's now under £1000!!! :D However, I really really think it's not the correct amount to be getting - so I'm going to bank all further payments until the end of this financial year and then see what they say. The woman on the phone said I was the second person today to ring and ask if it was correct as it seems an awful lot. I don't think I'm entitled to it, so if I bank it all for now, if they don't ask for it back, I'll pay it into debts, and if they do, at least I'll have it there for them!

    Hiya,
I always worry that TC give me too much, but I've gone to entitledto.com many times, plugged in my earnings and they come up with a figure pretty much the same as I receive so must be ok:p But I still worry it's wrong...!!! Have you looked at that site, put your income in and give you an idea?

Thats brilliant news, totally agree the safest is to put the money by for now, it could be because oh doesn't live with you then ur tax credits will be adjusted, and sounds like in your favour. Might be worth seeing what you get next month, playing devils advocate, at least by ringing ur creating a paper trail.

Worth looking on entitled to.com, u may have different figures on that as they tend to base the figures you put in that u earnt that throughtout the year, may give u an idea.

Hows you, hope Sophie getting better, and William ok, remember you are a wonderful mother and a strong person, (even if on the inside u want to sob ur heart out), xx

    Hi all

Well, a mad weekend - but good :) Went out with friends on fri and sat lol - but it was a very happy positive, dancing all night type events, not drunken and sobbing and raging, which characterised a lot of the 2008 nights out!!

The kids are back at 4 :D and so just trying to get stuff done now so we can chill and chat and stuff when they are back. I've got marking (booooo!) to do so am going to start that shortly and then finish when they are in bed and get an early night myself I think.

Hope all are well! Still doing my scratchcards - but haven't won anything more than 20p once. Ah well, give it time, eh?
