Thanks - they are still down now. Sophia's temp went up before the bath - so I'm just going to see how she is in the morning. Everything is ready to go for school so I just need to get them dressed and fed and off we go.

Hi Sea, hope the kids and you all get a good nights rest.

I'm not looking forward to dragging Miss Twit out of bed in the morning for her to go back to school. She's got her GCSE mocks starting tomorrow

Did you manage to get your marking done?

    *ahem*

Something terrible happened where huge metal chains and locks came out from the computer and locked me to playing sudoku on facebook. Really traumatic and nothing I could do but sit in front of the computer. Shocking really.

    So no, marking not done.

    Morning all!

Sophia still has a temperature, so I'm at home again today - can't say I'm overly upset, but I would rather go to work than Sophia suffer actually, and hopefully this is the tail end of the fever as, although high, it's not *as* high as it has been. Will's fabby childminder is going to collect him on the way to toddler group so that'll be nice for him and I can focus on making soph all better :)

Got only 2 tasks to do today - well, apart from the usual housework/washing/cleaning/cooking - marking and circle journals. I CAN do this, and WILL!! :D

I hope everyone is well and happy, and no one has injured themselves on the ice.

    Hi all

Well, Seaxwyn has inspired me to get off my !!!! and get marking today as she has got one piece of work done already!! So today:

    I HAVE to mark 9N, 9S, 9NW, 10D, 11B. About 30 exams for each - so 150 pieces to mark.

    My timescale is:
By 12 (so in an hour) I want to have done at least 50 of these - so 9N and 9S hopefully.

Then, by 1pm, including lunch, I want to have done 9NW.

By 2pm I want to have done 10D and 11B.

Then I can do the circle journals - and maybe even finish them by the time to pick up William comes. About 5. So 3 hours for them, but will need to get all stuff out and put away again and also get craft stuff for Sophia if she's up for it!

Well, better get on with it, rather than sit on here.

    :)
