Let's look on the possible bright sides of no second e-mails today. Perhaps they are preparing the system for a mega run tommorow as part of the ramping up process.
I wish I could share your optimism as mine got up and left several days ago“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Perhaps the FSCS are waiting for the Ice to melt in the freezer ....0

Both the people I know who received money have postcodes beginning with B.
Oh no, surely not! Postcode starts with T here. :eek:0 -
I reckon it gone horribly wrong, I just wish they would keep us informed, I know we joke and all that but seriously this has been one of the most stressful 2 weeks of my life so far. .
Harrowing : [Death, divorce and tax are nothing in comparison...at least the 1st is final, the 2nd is (normally) mutually agreed and third just the law.]
nilrem, I think you've perhaps misunderstood Harrowing's comment. It was not to compare the loss of money to the loss of life, it was merely a witty reference to the uncertain outcome of this fiasco as to the finality of death.
No offence was meant. Same with the reference to divorce, of course divorce is alot worse than this, but the witty point is at least in most divorce cases there is some reasonable communication between both parties where as in this case there are none.In memory of Chris Hyde #8670 -

I was only musing when I mentioned it, but now I think a little deeper... why not? Presuming there's a big fat list of 200,000 names, they have to sort it by some column or other, so why not post codes. It's only as daft and random as anything else.0
