I take it no one's actually received the email today? This is getting bloody ridiculous now

Do they really think they can fool us into thinking they're sending out 10,000 emails a day when the number of people here reporting they've received them fall into double figures only??????
“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”
  • Chameleon - I tend to agree with you - although at the weekend they did seem to send the emails out early rather than lunchtime as they seem to during the week.

Maybe it is going to be the evening today - who knows????

It seems to me that people getting 2nd emails and their money out have had relatively small sums(with the notable exception of the 250K lady).

It is, of course, entirely possible that people simply don't want the world to know and I respect their wish for privacy. It would cheer me up, however, to know that someone out there who was at the original £35,000 limit had got their hands on the dosh.

I don't expect virtue to be rewarded but it would be reassuring to know that £35-50,000 payouts are not being held back deliberately.

Both mine and my wife's amounts were in that ballpark and we got our 2nd e-mails Monday and Tuesday, so I don't think it's that. I really do think it's the luck of the draw I'm afraid and not related to the value of the payout. Hope that helps.

On www.thisismoney.com I notice that they are talking about the first 10,000 as a TRIAL - first I've heard of that - has anybody else been aware of that. Obviously makes sense but why don't they say so, would cause a bit less frustration.

..not seen a single "jumping for joy" smiley on even the "2nd email received" thread today. Perhaps they only send on even numbered days of week? ;)

I reckon it gone horribly wrong, I just wish they would keep us informed, I know we joke and all that but seriously this has been one of the most stressful 2 weeks of my life so far.

If we knew what was actually happening we could at least settle down and relax a little.
