  • What we need is some displacement activity

Jigsaws are a good way of wasting some time - I've got a nice one of an Iceberg if anyone wants a go! Complicated, frustrating and I think some of the pieces are missing

Keep pressing the tomorrow never comes button folks. It's putting that earlier embarrassing blunder of a post I made pages and pages back. No one will have the patience to trawl back through this lot. At last my luck has changed.

Harrowing, don't even think of a resurrecting that post. Remember we're all still waiting on the first "second coming"

No, instead I'll embarass you by saying "have you ever heard of the sort-by-date button on Google News?" :rotfl:

TBH I wish the FSCS would give us a little more info about the number of emails they have sent and are sending out per day, it might give us some hope of ever getting one! Or maybe they won't tell us because it is not as many as we would like!

I don't know about others here but I am getting thoroughly fed up with this waiting, it's been 10 days now since they started the payout and I am losing all hope of ever getting my cash back, I just want to get it over with and get back to a normal life.

Before this payout process started I had a different 'on-line' life and spent a lot of time in quite a few forums (not to do with finance) where I played an active part, but now I seem to spend all my time watching my blooming email or hanging around here searching for a tiny crumb of comfort from fellow FSCS waiting sufferers, I have neglected my other forums.

Now you are a nice bunch:heart2: but I really want to move on and get this thing over with but somehow I feel that some of us are still going to be here in another 2 weeks desperately wondering where our money is!

I can honestly say that I have found waiting for this 2nd email the most frustrating part since this Icesave fiasco started, just think how wonderful it must be for all those savers who got their cash back last week and can move on happily, it must be sheer bliss!:)

Just read this whilst having a sip of tea. God knows how long it's going to take to clean the mess up! :D

Ditto! I am feeling thoroughly despondent and miserable today :(

    Ditto again!

We must be living in some parallel world

The only thing I can console myself with right now is at least I held back from buying RBS and HBOS shares when the market plummeted in October as they're worth a damn sight less now than I would have paid for them then
