It's sinful to make fun of one's own Mum's basic IT skills, but she phoned me in a panic because the "form wasn't working". Found out she was putting the £ sign into the amount area!! I had mentioned it would be similar to normal icesave operation, but would she listen? Would she heck!
  • Just did another check for emails. I had to laugh when I saw a promo for a Christmas break in Iceland. I thought I'd take a look anyway and saw something in the text that had me in hysterics. This is the EXACT text, cut and pasted to here:

"And how about spending Christmas or New Year in Reykjavik? During the Festive season, the city is simply aglow with lights omitting a warm and welcoming atmosphere that is nothing short of magical. Join our 23 or 29 December departures and enjoy the festive season in style"

Now, did you see the deliberate mistake? "omitting" :rotfl:

    I kid you not!

You get better and better. Sublime. Caught my old mum trying turn the telly on with my mobile. Kept jumping up and down from the settee to see why it wasn't working. Never heard her swear before. Best 3 hours fun I've ever had.;)

Just been to pick the shed up. The clutch seal has perished. Needs a new one. Keep topping it up. Waiting for email confirmation. Order on hold until early December.

It all sounds damn too familiar.

OMG, it can't get much worse, can it? If it's any consolation, I bought a flat pack laundry bin today only to get it home to find it's completely knackered - probably made in Iceland.

There OK them flat pack laundry bins, for thin shirts, socks etc, but useless for bulky items like as moulded bras and box-er shorts. :D
