Fair ain't it. Been waiting days for the financial email. Today I get two, one from Ing Direct the other from Bradford and Bingley, both announcing huge interest cuts. Saxa must be doing brilliant with all the banks rubbing so much salt into our wounds. :mad:

Been reading your posts. Really feel for you all and I feel almost as desperate as you all do wondering when your turn will come. Got my 2nd on Friday (no payment yet though)
However i am feeling left out as I've never had a mail from Screwfix! What's wrong with me? What have Screwfix got against me? .
Really, really hope you hear something soon - but in the meantime take solace in the fact that you are showing true British grit and treating it with humour :T (and some alcohol) (and chocolate)

I can reassure you all, the process is somewhat anticlimactic, and also a little nerve wracking - did I enter the right amount? What if I claimed £3.0000 instead of £30,000, etc.

So you do it all, you get your claim email and that's it. More waiting.

After a few hours you can't even log back in. Account name and password "not recognised".

Then there's more waiting till the BACS kicks in.

I have to say, getting the 2nd email has left a tiny Iceland-shaped hole in my life.

Now I actually have to get a life. Or at least another hobby...

Good luck all. I can tell you, if Meanie's got his email, everyone else will soon too.

I have a surname starting with W. Can you tell me how far they have got ie. what is the 1st letter of yours. Might give us poor sods at the end of the alphabet an idea how long it will take.
