Am I going mad? I looked at the FSCS consumer home page an hour ago and it had been updated today. Now there is nothing from today and nothing about 50,000 or stepping up the process :mad: .

I'm going mad :eek: with you I did read that about 10 minutes ago. Just gone back to their site and as you say all references gone spooky_pale_

No you're not going mad. The website was updated earlier at 5.30pm but it's now been set back to the previous announcement. What is going on?

Maybe their facts were wrong re the 50,000. That's 1/4 of the 200,000 after all:rolleyes: So would have expected quite a few regulars here to have been e-mailed by now.

Since 7th October, I've had this recurring dream:

I'm completely naked, on an ice rink, locked in stocks. Loretta Minghella, dressed as a domanatrix, is throwing cod heads and puffin pooh at me. The ghost of Magnus Magnuson is seated in a black chair next to her. He's got £25,000 in £50 notes and is slowly burning them one by one. I scream at them to stop. He just grins and says, "We've started, so we'll finish"
