re : Icesave :
It says it is now in a position to contact every customer after completing an initial payout of £250m to approximately 10,000 individuals.
So it WAS only 10,000 in total, not just per day.0 -
Didn't have time to both log-on and make my sarnies (cold chicken and cucumber on brown, since you ask)
There are posters who have admitted to resorting to the consumption of antidepressant sandwiches, so by brown, I hope you mean bread, and not heroin! In memory of Chris Hyde #8670 -
I certainly feel like a heroine, however I try to keep my addictions within my spending power, which at present means the odd glass of cheapo wine. Someone has just started a thread, asking for us all to sending boxes of chocolates to ICEsave staff. Now, I have absolutely nothing against them and I'm sure they're all doing stirling work, but I feel like I'm the one who should be getting the box of chocs.0

...Up date says 50,000 paid...
great! Where's that from?
So it now seems as though we don't actually need the second e-mail at all. We can just log onto our accounts when they're ready. So as long as we log onto them regularly (like fifty times per day), we don't have to worry about the emails getting stuck in spam filters, etc. This is really good I think.0 -
..........new antidepessant centres.........
Yep, must be working, feeling more positive already.0 -
Disappear off to have my dinner ... come back to the PC and check inbox ... spot a twinkly little orange star telling me I have mail! :j ... heart skips a beat as I rub my hands together in anticipation ... gingerly click to open inbox ... and then my heart sinks
Egg and Amazon ... I HATE YOU!!!!!!“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

I read it that they have sent out 50,000 2nd emails but they may not all have logged on and initiated claim. Some may have elected to wait until maturity in the case of fixed term deposits.0 -

Except that if 10's of 1000's of us all log in to check it will slow the website right down and may make them limit the amount of people allowed to log on at a time!:eek:0
