    Nilrem reporting for duty.

Oh I almost forgot to mention, when I logged on I found an email from the FSCS sent at 13:02 pm today! I don't know what it was all about, it arrived in my spam box so I think it was just a junk email as it was some sort of invitation, anyway I soon deleted it!

With that our work is almost done ...
This morning we had to replace the mother board and two more valves but there lurking behing the 8K random access memory was a trapped email with the name Mr Nilrem, I took personal charge of the situation and slipped said email back into the Graphic analyser and restarted the FIFO buffer after tricking into thinking said email was the FI and hence it became the FO and bingo .....
Word spread quickly round the office that the Nilrem account was finally activated and the staff are so happy they're dancing round the desks. Lights are flashing everywhere and it's like Christmas has come early. One guy even suggested working overtime for no pay (he's since been dispatched to Iceland on a special mission)

Good luck to all who are still waiting and our work goes on with new vigur....

  • UK Icesave customers should be aware of fraudulent emails (27 November)

FSCS has been informed that there are some fraudulent emails being sent to UK Icesave customers from fraudsters posing as "banks" or "FSCS". The emails state that individuals need to confirm their bank account details through a link embedded in the email in order to complete their transfer from Icesave. This is not the case, please ignore these emails.
We will update our website as soon as we have more information.

Lol Nice one! I reckon that you ought to get rid of that ENIAC Machine and treat yourselves to something a bit more able to cope with the next crashed bank, perhaps someone has a Vic 20 lurking around unused and unwanted or better still a Radio Shack TSR80!:rotfl:

I think KenC was going Golfing so may not know yet, Hope he is lucky today.

To anyone else still waiting I am damn sure you will get yours either tomorrow or Saturday at the latest, working the figures out I reckon there are only around 20,000 to 30,000 left to pay via the BACs route.
  • Tibbledon you need to move me over to the claimed list as well.

I got my 3rd confirmation of claim email just after 2pm only 3 and a bit hours after the 2nd invitation one which seems to be really quick.

The words rocket and backside spring to mind. Question is who wielded the instrument ?
