It's getting very lonely in this thread now, most people have got their emails and money and moved on, I shall be talking to myself soon!
Looks like some claims are being initiated this morning, so hope you're in today's bunch Nilrem. Same too to the overly extensive list who still don't seem to have got their claims in yet chmmy; Polka-dot; 2cats1kid; KenC
Geosaver; Minimods; Oql61; zanshin; jiggy2 et al....
you're not alone, the support team are still here :j cheering you on too. Will check in later, hope there's more good news then.0 -
Do you think there is then a correlation between those with larger amounts being left until last, possibly paper route, with a few exceptions, as mentioned by 'just take my money' or is it my paranoia? one does wonder where all (if any at all) the interest on the money is going, fscs (govt making something out of this) coffers perhaps0

I have got it at last. Can hardly believe it has actually happened.
I had problems getting on to AOL this morning but when I did the email was waiting. Came in at 10.36.
The claiming process itself was a nightmare. Three times Internet Explorer decided not to cooperate plus there was a time out too. I only have too accounts but my printer seemed even slower than usual.
I was frantically pressing both refresh and back buttons and at one point I saw what must have been the NBS worksheet as it was black/white and aranged differently. I was in such a blue funk I didn't waste time looking too closely. Another curious thing was that on one of the pages I saw yesterday's date (don't ask which page) and I wonder whether it had been intended for processing yesterday.
I am now off to the darkened room and then to get form off to KRBS. I feel quite shaken up particularly since OH was totally non-supportive during the process.
Will report back later.0 -

Almost the same position as you
1 Joint savings account
1 each ISA
Both use same e-mail address
Same Linked joint account.
Could initiate claim for our joint saving account and my ISA. - Have done so
Still Can't claim back my wifes ISA. - phoned FSCS this morning, told me my wifes claim for her ISA would be done by paper claim - no valid reason.
Nothing is easy with these people.
Thanks. Very useful post.
Does suggest there is a general problem in this precise scenario; i.e. joint account, 2 individual accounts (and where on logging in you can see both your individual account and the joint account under the same login), and same linked bank account for all icesave accounts.
And it's not necessarily to do with whether a linked account had been set up for all accounts as I previously suggested.
EDIT: PLEASE READ NEXT POSTMSE. Abandon hope all ye who enter here0 -
No - please see post 3067 and 3300. 3 joint accounts, ISA each, same joint linked account, same e-mail address. 2nd of us initiated yesterday.0
