  • Well, there seemed to be an email despatch at around 5pm last night and again at 9.30 this morning.

Maybe that's the pattern they're sticking to - 9.30am and 5pm each day?

Nilrem, I really wouldn't stress about it too much. If your account has an initiate button, you're at least on their activation list.

I guess it's just going to be a hard core of about twenty or so of us ........ d'you reckon that the folks at FSCS have identified us as troublemakers and are putting us to the back of the line on purpose.

Yes, paranoia is definitely setting in..........

For the info of other "none 2nd receivers"
I have made my first email my screensaver. It's abit like an electronic "comfort blanket", a psychological crutch, which has gone someway to restoring the good relationship I once had with my laptop. ;)
Perhaps you should take it out for a candlelit dinner for two? ;)

From what they report it sounds like the number of second emails sent out so far is a state secret. If anybody finds a confidential FSCS document relating to this on the 16:43 London to Doncaster train could they please post. Thanks

No FSCS official could inadvertently leave this particular dossier. If it contains details of all depositors awaiting 2nd emails, it would be at least six feet thick! :D

I know you are right and I keep telling myself that without success, TBH I have always been a anxious type of person, it's in my blood and I can't do anything about it. :)

So correct. We'll gradually be whittled down to three or four diehards, and this thread will end up on forum page 478, and my inbox finger will keep clicking even when I'm asleep, that's if I can manage to sleep by then, and all the neighbours will be peeking through their curtains muttering "I wander what he's doing on that computer again" and as for the paranoia........ ;)
