Received both 2nd e mails for our two ISA's and the money is now coming in from the cold. That's both Icesave and Kaupthing now sorted out. For all the complaints we have now recovered all our money and I would not like to have tried to recover our money direct from the Icelandic compensation scheme.0

Well I have been avoiding the forum since the afternoon because I am so despondent at not getting the email that I felt you all needed a rest from my constant moaning.
The situation is still the same, I have not received a second email and clicking the initiate button just tells me to clear off.
Now I read somewhere in this thread (earlier today) that if one has a joint easy access account one cannot get the funds the bacs way and one has to do paper based by post!
Both accounts we have, easy access and fixed are joint, can anyone confirm that I won't be able to do my joint accounts online?
Has anyone been able to initiate a joint easy access?0 -
OMG Has everybody gone now? :eek:0

Still waiting too but for funds to hit bank account initiated yesterday without second email and have still not had third email confirming claim (have they lost my email address?), so dont feel overly confident money will appear. Instead of checking emails will be checking my bank account every five minutes!0

Had our 2nd email. When I went through paperwork I realised my partner and I had different logins and had given 2 different bank accounts. I rang the Icesave help line (number on bottom of 2nd email) and a really nice lady said she had never been asked that before and had no idea. She said as far as they were concerned a joint account could only have one nominated account. She said just log in and see what happens!
So I did. I logged in under my login details and initiated the claim. They listed my bank details - I put the whole amount in and it went through... all the money into my account...... so now off to Barbados! (Only kidding).
I'm not sure if this is any help nilrem.............
Is it the same situation as yours?I just got lost in thought. It was unfamiliar territory.0 -
