    Hi folks
I'm afraid I got the last 6 x 69p yellow pots from IKEA Croydon last night! Bought two red ones too @99p as I think these will look fab full of gold items and with gold thread.

Just to add to the ideas of things to go in the pots, I am probably going to add some vanilla tea-light candles (IKEA bulk buy!) some orange/gold lip balms and I got some cheap vanilla shower gel from bodyshop earlier in the year which will go in a few (if they fit!)

Just need to buy the choc coins, werthers & cellophane and will wrap up for 8 pots of gold closer to christmas!

You're all probably way ahead of me on this, but I saw an advertisement for "Pots of Gold" scratchcards on TV last night.

I've finally started assembling my pots of gold, I'm so excited to see how they finally look. I've used plastic flower pots from B&Q that I have spray painted gold. They cost about £1.20 for 10 so I'm very pleased with that :)

For the contents I have used Werthers, gold chocolate coins, Nettos gold wrapped fudge, Ferrero Rocher and gold wrapped chocolate that I found in the 99p store (they are yummy, well I had to check!). I just need a scratchcard for each pot then I can wrap them up, but I'm waiting a bit as I need 10!

I'm going to wrap them in gold cellophane which I have bought from Ebay. I also found some lovely gold tinsely braid in the 99p shop that I will use to tie them. Then I just need to print the tag and they'll be finished, yeay! :T

I just saw some chocolate poker chips online so have decided to do a little Poker Pot for my brother instead of a pot of gold as he loves online poker. Will probably just have some gold sweets, the choc poker chips and a scratchard in but is a bit more suited to his interests!

Just bought my cello bags off ebay to put my pots in too :D

Laura, I used the ones from here http://shop.ebay.co.uk/katymin1/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=

the 25 tall slim ones. Haven't arrived yet so can't comment how good they are, but seemed like a decent price to me (£2 inc postage)

You will probably find they won't fit in there as they are not gusseted bags they are for cards.
