  • Just getting it back to the top of the thread list..
  • I was astounded at Mark Orr's arrogance.

Any idea what he REALLY meant when he said " Me and my fellow directors are deliberately keeping away from the Administrator so as not to influence him."
I felt quite disgruntled after listening to Mark Orr but then came that lovely uplifting service broadcast from Bloomfield Presbyterian and I was blessed.
Perhaps we experienced the best and the worst of the PCI in one morning?

The results of this poll (so far) would suggest that he is wrong

What are you going to do to publicise/advertise the results of your poll to those who don't visit our Forum or even use the internet?

Will did not ask specifically about "advances secured on building sites & development land" ......It would have been good to hear what Mark Orr (PMS Chairman) had to say !

Yeah, I thought the same myself; Will Crawley does not normally let people he interviews off so light-a friend of his?
Mr Orr certainly enjoyed answering the "Buy-To-Let" question; he said they were mostly holiday homes and retirement homes. Would love to see the statistical break-down of that one!

If Mark Orr said retirement homes - then that falls into FSA regulations!!!!

Any other minister out there want to say anything?

I think that when the PMS news first broke that the PCI hierarchy put a gagging order on their Ministers :silenced: but I suspect that as the evidence of possible wrong doing becomes more obvious that some PCI Ministers will spaek publicly in support of investors.
My dearly beloved reckons that there will be skin and hair flying at the General Assembly this year over the PMS issue.
Personally I reckon that some of the Ministers are biding their time until they have enough information (ie hard facts) to speak authoritatively on the subject.

haven't a clue, was just getting the feel of people who use this forum
    You got any suggestions ?

Send the results to the Newsletter - they can use journo language to explain that it is not a professionally run survey but an ad hoc straw poll that gives an insight into the thoughts of a group of investors impacted by the PMS crisis. It is factually correct and on the internet so they are free to use it

I really hope that was not the case.

That would smack horribly of censorship.

Doesn't the PCI pride itself on its democracy, individuality, and freedom of speech?

But it would explain the deadly silence
