Hi thanks for that JC74.
I'm just curious as to why (it seems to me) the entire Northern Ireland media (not sure about the Newsletter) has gone quiet on the PMS issue. There is very little about it on BBC Ulster. Are they being told in the background to keep the issue away from the spotlight??0 -
He clearly knows how to charge as well - £24,000 according to the administrators report, more than the administrator himself. Not much pro bono there!
Oh yes - the advisors will all be making a kings ransom from this one given that is likely to run for a few years. John 2009 already mentioned this in a previous post.
All future asset sales will also incur costs reducing the amount to be distributed.
L'estrange and brett are giving a 15% discount but partner rates will still be £250-300 per hour I would have thought.0 -
hermons@parliament.uk is the email address for Lady Sylvia
She is my MP and works very hard for us, recently widowed , and a presbyterian.
Best wishes to you all from a Presbyterian - all signed up on the petition and rooting for you
John
Thanks a million for the email address for Lady Sylvia. Does anyone know if these politicians actually read their emails as I have only had replies from Ministers, none from Politicians.
Did any of you hear Rev John Dickinson on Thought for the Day on Radio Ulster this morning (please post a link someone)? He referred to the PMS and said that savers will "almost certainly lose a proportion of their savings".
He can be contacted at jdickinson@presbyterianireland.org0 -

Carnmoney Presbyterian Church
He's a nice guy, good speaker, I normally enjoy his Thought for the Day or his Broadcast Service. He has two brothers PCI ministers; Stephen (Glenarm, I think ) and ?Peter. They all have quite different personalities but very similar voices.
He might not think me so nice when he reads the email that I have sent him; not a poisoned pen letter or anything but just my feelings on the PCI/PMS issue.0 -

did you ask him about the rumours around church house ?
Sorry but I won't be posting my letter to him or his reply as it is a personal communication between me and him as far as I am concerned. There has to be some respect and trust.
If I receive any "interesting" replies from any politicians I will probably post excerpts as I imagine that they would understand that every word they utter is public property.
Does this make sense?
:rolleyes2
I didn't ask him about "rumours" as I am fairly sure those rumours existed so I don't really need evidence.

Re Lady Hermon
I note she has signed the Downing street the on-line petition yesterday0 -

Lady Hermon does read correspondence often adding hand written comments. I have received a reply from her as well as Sir Reg, Jim Allister,Peter Weir, OFM/DFM, Jeffrey Donaldson and the Moderator.0 -
Any Word From Government Yet Regarding A Meeting For The First, Deputy First Minister And Mrs Foster??????????????0

A slightly different angle which might produce an interesting response...!!
If you carry out a search of Data Controllers on http://www.ico.gov.uk/tools_and_resources/register_of_datacontrollers.aspx nothing is returned for the PMS.
A number of members should submit Subject Access Requests to the Administrator and see what transpires.
Details of the Notification Process can be found at http://www.ico.gov.uk/Home/what_we_cover/data_protection/notification.aspx
It is worth noting it is a criminal offence not to notify......!0
