  • hi everyone. 88.6% of members voted for an even distribution of funds. did this count for nothing? if so, why did we have to bother voting? 1 court action and a dozen other threats i think have severely impaired our chances of an early takeover and/or resolution. meanwhile the big guys get a handsom reward for pulling financial rank while the little guys (and girls) are asked to bend over and live in appaulling limbo for the foreseeable future! was this proportional vote made clear to the judge by the administrator? what ever happened to one man, one vote? so much for mutual.

When Arlene Foster, at the request of PMS directors, brought the special order through the NI Assembly, to put our IPS into ordinary company administration one man one vote went out the window.
    Another major gaffe.

  • Sir,

Respectfully, I dont believe your confrontational manner directed at specific individuals is in any way constructive. Everyone is angry and distressed but I believe it is important to concentrate these emotions in an appropraite manner so as not to undermine the validity of our claims.
The majority of those who invested in the PMS did so fundamentally because of their Christian beliefs and it is important not to lose sight of what we as Christians are supposed to represent even in challenging times such as this.

    Kind Regards

I presume that Setanexample's very first post takes issue with my recent posts concerning the Howie Christian Charitable Trust and their recent court action. The timing of his first post might imply that he has a link or association with the Howie Christian Charitable Trust?

There have been a large number of posts highlighting the Directors, Secretary, Moderator, Church, Politicans and others. Why did Setanexample not respond to these posts?

The legal action taken by the HCCT trustees has resulted in PMS shareholders losing their right to a share of £20 million generated by the PMS since Administration.

Law and morality are not the same thing. Silent Witness, if he is who is says he is, a Presbyterian Elder and Trustee of the General Assembly of the PCI has attempted to justify the actions of the HCCT, legally. This is one of the reasons why I think he is a lawyer. Can he justify his actions morally?

I think that Silent Witness has put the HCCT before his Church, before the Church he chooses to lead.

If I'm wrong or missing something please let me know.
  • lester f, why all the assumptions, presumptions and suspicion? i don't really see the point in tracking down a contibuter's id. what does it matter? it's not a game of cluedo. all info and contributions welcome. personally, i think it was colonel mustard, in the library, with the candlestick.
  • I know that everyone has a right to have a moan and an opinion but it would serve a more worthwhile purpose if these energies were spent on constructive actions rather than talking/ typing.

Of course we're all angry, but at what exactly? Directors, secretary, PCI, administrator, moderator, those who took their money out prior to the collapse and removed all meaning from the word 'mutuality', those who borrowed, those who defaulted, the NI Executive and their seeming inactivity because they don't have the will to admit partial responsibility and fight for us with HMG, HMG itself, Gordon Brown, Silent Witness, HCCT, Uncle Tom Cobbly and all????

Are you getting my drift? Every single one of us feels the need to vent our anger but Lester F, if you are so intent in getting to the bottom of the mystery of Silent Witness or Setanexample or whoever you have been addressing, go ahead and PM those people..they may take the time to respond. At the end of the day, that's their choice.
All your challenges are very obvious on this site and people are reluctant to post because it's all getting too confrontational.

Why don't we look forward collectively instead of back and see what we can all do to get all the money back for every single person? Has anyone any constructive ideas on how we move this negativity forward and harness our energy for the good of 9,500 savers? Post them on the site and let's bring a bit of harmony for the sake of everyone. United we stand so let's stand closely together.

    Night night.:A
