  • Lester F you're like a boring old broken record, has no one ever told you jealousy is not a very attractive quality?!:rotfl:

Why don't you give it a rest, might I suggest you go for a walk and have some cooling off time,it would give us all some peace and I'm sure your wife would appreciate some quiet time as well.:rotfl: ;)

Jealousy? How so? I find Lester F's point of view quite interesting. Rather than patronise him in the tone you have, why not be patient and polite, and just wait with the rest of us to see what answer he gets to his quite reasonable points? You might learn something you didn't know!:)
  • My post on the forum at 5.30pm yesterday was removed today, but not before Flinflon and others read it. Here is the gist of it again; without my question concerning the identity of Silent Witness who by his own description is a Presbyterian elder, one of the 3 trustees of HCCT and a trustee of the General Assembly of PCI.

Is this what is feels like to be savaged by a couple of dead sheep?

Hatsarehere and No More FWO are cronies of Silent Witness.

Silent Witness has also posted on this forum as Arnold Don; these are his Christian names (post 770 page 39). Silent Witness has posted a lot of personal information about himself on this forum. Enough information to allow anyone with a google search engine to ascertain his identity.

With regard to the Howie Christian Charitable Trust. I do not believe that they have acted for the benefit of all PMS members. The legal action initiated by the 3 Trustees of the HCCT has left shareholders as second class PMS members.

The 3 Trustees of the Howie Christian Charitable Trust profess a Christian faith. In the light of this fact, I would ask Silent Witness and the other 2 Trustees to step out from behind the law and explain to us ordinary people why their need is greater than ours.
  • Sir,

Respectfully, I dont believe your confrontational manner directed at specific individuals is in any way constructive. Everyone is angry and distressed but I believe it is important to concentrate these emotions in an appropraite manner so as not to undermine the validity of our claims.
The majority of those who invested in the PMS did so fundamentally because of their Christian beliefs and it is important not to lose sight of what we as Christians are supposed to represent even in challenging times such as this.

    Kind Regards

"Update from the Administrator 12 February 2010

The Administrator and his legal advisers are considering the judgement made today and will advise members/creditors of the implications in due course. "

There have been developments in Court since 12 Feb. and creditors are entitled to be told about them.
Another date for Court is 18 March.

  • The problem now is that the court has said that small savers(shareholders) will only receive payment if there is anything left after creditors have been paid.

Once the creditors have been paid out then the small savers at that point could quantify their losses and sue the Indemnity insurers of the responsible people for this mess. However if the administration is extended for another 5 years then the small savers will not be able to quantify their losses till then and how many elderly people will not see that day.

There is also the case that property and land prices could take many years to come back to the level they were in 2007. In a recent case in Dublin Justice Kelly said that in land cases coming before his court values were down 70 -80%. One case quoted a piece of land valued at 31m now was only worth 600K.

Mr Justice Deeny has already ruled that shareholders with less than £20,000 in the PMS cannot receive interim payments from £20 million in assets realised by administrator Arthur Boyd.

I wish the reporting of facts was accurate.
The Administrator has not disposed of any of PMS assets.
All this 20m has come to the Administrator from rent for commercial property and repayment of loans plus interest paid by our borrowers.

He may have received a small sum from securities he sold from one or more of the defaulting borrowers.

We want to know the facts.
