I just had a phone conversation with Dan from the warehouse....you're right..their internet orders have gone up dramatically and they are doing their best to get orders out. They are extroadinarily helpful and will do their best to substitute anything that's gone out of stock. Yes, my order will be a couple of days late but he was so helpful I don't care. Happy money saving x0

Asked about the delivery price which some have shown concern about, and he said if you can find a better or alternative option for delivery then they will accommodate you and place that delivery option online0

It has a glass front displaying there wares and a green (I think) sign with the shop name on. Have had lots of school pack up bits from there. Usually go to Tesco or Morrisons then walk down to that shop and Heron. Heron in Skeg is fantastic by the way much better than the Boston one.
Yeah that sounds like the one its only a small place, there was another shop near by called Rendevouz not sure if its still there.
We used to have a Heron in town but it closed down :mad:0 -
Pretty good - however lots of the stuff is the same as they sell in B&M bargins. Well the one near me, it always has pot noodles, chicken sauce in jars, pasta sauce ect. Normally out of date or going out of date that month. If anyone is in Leeds the one on York Road LS9 is top! Not sure about the other ones but this one is bargin-tastic for food!0

I had an email fron Dan yesterday to say a couple of my items weren't available.I have just phoned him this morning and he was so friendly and helpful,he is going to ring back later when he is in the warehouse. He said they have been taken by surprise at all the extra orders and have been working non-stop to try and get them out quickly.
He also said there are a lot of good bargains in the pipeline, but they are holding them back for a while until they get over the present rush.0 -
I have just placed an order.
Considering i got 8 jars of peanut butter for £1 amongst many other things, and i dont drive, couldnt carry that much shopping on the bus and bus both ways to town would cost me £3, this delivery charge IS worth it IMHO
also have a veggie Mum coming to stay at xmas so got plenty of veggie soup. Yep ok i usually make my own but with a new baby i am a bit more rushed off my feet.
Yes the 'sell by' date is NOT a 'best before' date and sell by is no indication of freshness.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:
